I think the reason why banes voices sound a little robotic is because IMO his entire mouth is covered in a breathing apparatus so I think theres a speaker attached to the mask other wise you wouldn't hear him at all if he was talking threw the mask (kind of like Darth Vader)

Also, at 7:39, Bane's not Spanish. He's Latin-American, as you mentioned before. A Spanish person is someone from Spain; Bane's from Central America. Calling a Latino Spanish is like calling an American a Brit, just so you know. That misnomer is getting very frustrating.

As good an actor as Tom Hardy is, I will continue to think he's miscast as Bane until I'm proven wrong, and this trailer didn't help with that. He may be buff, but he's shorter than Christian Bale (maybe they'll use camera tricks to increase his height or something, I dunno). Also, he does NOT fit the role ethnically; Bane's supposed to be Hispanic, Latino. Hardy's English. There are complaints about that the same way *you* complained about Scarlett Johanssen not using a Russian accent...

Everything you said is exactly how I feel and thanks for pointing out that Bane is Latin - for some reason I didn't know that and felt my whole world that revolved Bane came to a understanding. But I question Juno Temple has been cast in a role described as a "street-smart Gotham girl" do you think that in a future movie (possibly on with Robin) that it could reveal her as Harley Quinn? And Liam Neeson will return as Ra's as well as Cillian as the Scarecrow.

I like to cheapen the experience, it make the actual theatre experience that much more profound. I agree that you should never watch a movie, like the Dark Knight Rises on your computer, or wait for it to be OnDemand and watch it on your TV; but trailers and prologue bits... - whatever. It's just a tease. It's supposed to tease you. I'll see the real thing once the teasing's over.

Part III - Before seeing the trailer, seeing Catwoman with the Batpod and a few onset photos with her and Bale, I thought Catwoman would be a protagonist who took up Batman's fight in his absence - having been inspired by him. Now I see her as more of an antagonist/anti-hero.

Also, I don't think Selina was threatening Batman/Bruce. She was threatening the public playboy that is Bruce Wayne. If she knew he was Batman I don't think she'd be giving such a warning.

What I don't want to see is a complete conclusion to Batman. I have no problem with Nolan putting the cap on his series, but I don't want it to happen in a way that makes a sequel by another director impossible because if Nolan ties a tight bow around this trilogy and it just stops, then I know that some idiot in Warner Bros. is going to demand a reboot, and that's not what we want to see. Go the route of Batman Forever and have someone else come in and take Batman's story in a new direction.

My only issue with Bane is being about equal size to Batman.......Bane towers over batman and when he gets amped with venom he looks like a bodybuilder during a competition. I kinda wish the actor was taller and bigger arms but whatever, it's not a deal breaker for me. I love his mask it looks like 2 hands clasping together, You can see they changed it from initial pictures, it looked like a single hand palming his mouth. I mean he made such a huge impact in the Dark Knight. He had the entire city in complete chaos and in reality (which Nolan's Batman Universe pretty much focuses around) he would be remembered for years to come. Much like Charles Manson, etc. If he isnt at least mentioned in TDKR, its going to be somewhat disappointing. Not the movie, just that particular part.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Trailer and everything looks great but there are 2 problems I have with Bane. First is the accent. He sounds British. At least in the scenes we've saw him in so far. The 2nd problem I have is his height. There's a shot in the trailer where he's fighting Batman. He looks bigger than Batman by about a head and with only slightly more muscle. I really want him to have the Venom drug or at least something similar. I hope it's not just a guy that's "more built" than Batman.
