Thanks for the information. I have checked the reference in Wikipedia. However the number is only a CLAIM by a NGO based in US. Actually, the U.S. alone provided more than $2 billion in arms in the 1970s and 1980s—ostensibly to counter Soviet and rebel groups (SPLA). However, after a military coup, a pro-Russia goverment got the power and kicked out the US oil company Chevron. After that, US started to support the rebel groups inculding SPLA with millions of dollars.

US also put an embargo on Sudan. Only at this time, China joined the "show" becasue China want to get its oil supply. I am not saying China is correct but I think US is even worse because US palyed a major role to trigger the conflict and their aim it to overthrow the goverment. China is just doing business with a lawful goverment. US is providing weapons to rebels. Before blaming China, you should also ask yourself why US arm the rebel groups. The whole story is far more complex!!!
