The constitution should be adjusted. The president shouldnt take decision alone; he may heave the country to disaster. Decisions should be taken with the senates consents, not through the president alone.

Very true about the president needing more checks and balances. I mentioned in another reply that I was running for President and establishing some more checks and balances on the office I seek is one of my goals, along with things like the usual conservative stuff, getting Puerto Rico the right to vote in presidential elections and their own representatives to Congress, and hopefully term limits on Congress too. All in all, the politicians all need some more checks and balances.

The constitution should be adjusted. The president shouldnt take decision alone; he may heave the country to disaster. Decisions should be taken with the senates consents, not through the president alone.
If the president betrays or develops mental illness, he would destroy our country and other nations also. It sounds like dictatorship, not democratic. Therefore, we are experiencing difficulties with the veiled Obama and with other presidents also. We shouldnt risk the nation.

Very true about the president needing more checks and balances. I mentioned in another reply that I was running for President and establishing some more checks and balances on the office I seek is one of my goals, along with things like the usual conservative stuff, getting Puerto Rico the right to vote in presidential elections and their own representatives to Congress, and hopefully term limits on Congress too. All in all, the politicians all need some more checks and balances.

I'm a conservative who voted for John McCain and disagree with Obama on many issues. However, I must admit that this little hopemonger sure can inspire. Now that he's our president-elect, I'll do my best to evaluate his presidency with an open mind. I'll stand behind him unless he monumentously screws up like that conservative-in-name-only George Bush. We had a hard fight and you guys on the left fought well, but now that it's over we should stand behind our leader and unite.

I want honesty for a change. Obama avoids many questions with circular answers and political footwork. Of course he sounds impressive doing it,but then we realize weve been had. McCain is not perfect either, but his answers dont assume you are capable of being duped. We all want change but it seems Obama is more of the same.
