  • it sounds like funeral music

  • the song is to sad is putting me to sleep... but i love the vid beautiful... no more slow song next time plzzz.

  • Why such sad music

  • Love the music and the dress

  • OMG

    I Love It

  • I want to make a casual LBD. Are there any no-no's when making one? (such as no decorations, etc)

  • aweful music

  • sooooooooooooooooooo cute, and creative !!!!!!

  • POCKETS!!! yes

  • That's a really cute dress!!!!! I personally would go and buy new fabrics from a fabric store and may make the dress a little more detailed (with darts and maybe more skirt pieces) but it's great what you've done!!!!!!

  • I love the video. Not a hater but next time you should show a picture in the beginning of what it looks like. and/or a little commentary.

  • бред...

  • I love your creativity and imagination~! I noticed you didn't explain it so i tried explaining it but the amount of what you type on the comments is really limited so I'll have to post multiple comments ^^; sorry Hi~! I think this explains it: What you need: •2 stretchy tops that are the same colour •similar fabric available for making pockets •1 transparent or lacy shirt •Scissors •Thread •Sewing machine •Imagination
  • 1 Grab one of the stretchy tops and cut a straight line that crops off the neckline and sleeves making sure that each side are symmetric in lengths.

2 Cut out roughly an inch more than your hand width down the open top. This is where the pockets are going to go. Do the same to the other side. This is going to be the ‘skirt’ or lower part of the dress.

  • 3 Using spare fabric, cut out the shape of the pockets you want. It’s really up to you what shape and how big you want the pocket. In this video, it was loosely cut around the hand lying flat on top. Make sure you cut 4 pieces as you need 2 pieces for each pocket.

  • 4 Sew pockets to the ‘skirt.’ It may be easier to attach the pieces separately to the skirt first and then close the pocket pieces together. You will get what appears to be animal ears once you turn it out to the right side. Push the pockets into the skirt.

5 Get the other stretchy top and cut the front piece apart from the back. Fold each piece in half, wrong sides together.

  • 6 Get one of those pieces, this will be the back. You need to use your imagination. Decide how low you want the back to be. Also trim the sides so that both the top and under layers are the same shape. Sew the upper edge of the back pieces you have created.

  • 7 Now the other piece. This will be the front. The video shows a sweetheart neckline. Again, make sure the pieces are the same shape and sew the upper edge of both the front pieces you have just created. Make sure it covers your breasts! It would be a shame if after all that work, you don’t feel comfortable in your own dress!

  • 8 Open and align the front and back pieces. Right side of fabric to right side. Sew the sides together. Once done, fold it so that right side is facing outwards. If you wish, you can iron it to keep it in place and sew along the bottom so it doesn’t misalign.

9 A quick glance of how it’s going to look. It’s easier to sew if you slip the skirt into the inside of the top. Align waist. Remember, put the side you want to be the outside of the finished dress to the right side of the skirt.

  • 10 You should have what appears to be a topless dress now.

11 Now you are ready to attach the dress to the top you want. It’s probably a good idea to try the dress and shirt on as to make sure you have the right place you want the dress to start on the shirt. Remember! The dress has to be high enough to cover most of your breasts! The last thing you want is an unusable dress because your boobs are exposed.

12 Wear it and be proud

    Fin~! :)
