  • Thanks for getting the audio back.

  • Where's the Audio?

This film has moments of true comedic genius. A bit falls flat. But I think it's a "lost" classic.

  • Lenny Maltin rated this classic film comedy highly in

"Movie Comedy Teams" and"The Great Movie Shorts"/

    "Selected Short Subjects".

  • There's a reason these guys are forgotten today

  • Bobby Clark and Paul McCullough -- a team whose work fortunately survives in these comedies, which Clark tended to put down in later years but still shine today.

Clark was well-read, going straight through the Harvard Classics, according to one source. Classic Clark would be the crouch he assumes when cross-examining a witness in a trial scene in this film. He was clearly the team's dominant member, though McCullough would get in some funny lines and punctuate Clark's jokes with a "heh, heh!"

  • Clark and Mccullough were HIGHLY underrated! Kitchen sink comedy of the highest order!!!!

  • This was one of Clark & McCullough's most notable two-reelers, as highlighted by Leonard Maltin in his book "The Great Movie Shorts". Joe Franklin once showed this on his TV show in the mid-'70s....
