My beautiful Golden Labrador has been howling to harp and sax all his life. On Wed. he became very sick and I drove him home for the last time. This song came on the radio and Otis waited till the last harp section then propped himself up on his elbows and let out one long, perfectly noted howl then slumped back down on my lap. The song finished as I pulled up the driveway - in tears of course. He died on Thurs. He is a creature that truely did have a 'Heart of Gold'. P.S. My bday today too Neil
