People think that Dragonforce guitar is good because it's fast. Rusty Cooley's playing is much more intricate and precise. To people who don't play guitar, they sound the same but in actuality, they are quite different. Once is skilled and one "sounds" skilled.
@quocdarock Dragonforce does have some nice sounds, but for the most part its the same song over and over again. Operation: Ground and Pound is nice, but besides that, they're pretty bland:(

@DegraDeadlock Actually I think with Rusty's ALS they pretty much have to disband... I haven't heard lately but he is either extremely close or is already at the stage of the disease where he can't play guitar anymore... It's extremely saddening to say but he'll be joining Mr. Becker in the strictly composer chair soon...

Rusty Cooley is one of the guitarrists who impress me. His Insane solos are epic too, that makes his solos reach to the sky, but I must admit he isn't good playing slow songs.
Suposse that Rusty is going to Play Whitewash by Buckethead, he can? The Answer is Simple, no he can't. Why? Cause of Buckethead is not a guitarrist for insane solos and for showing his abilities like Michael Angelo Batio, he is a composer who dedicates the songs to his family.
