how do you record with the backing track AND get it on video? if i put a backing track in audacity, and i record the audio it goes fine, but if i record it with my webcam software, it only records me playing but not the backing track, any help? wat software do you use?

I think the main thing is the humbucker... I tested different guitars and actually only this Ibanez with SH-6 had a good sound...

Hey Maciek, you mind sharing your toneport settings? I really love your tone, and somehow i only get shitty sounds out of my toneport (i have the gx without the model packs...). I loved the rythm guitar tone on your track "Light loose", really nice crunchy tone, and of course the tone on this one here.

Since I changed my humbucker to SD SH-6, my Ibanez sounds a lot better with Tone Port - before I wasn't really happy with the sound. I think pickup characteristics may play significant role in TP signal processing.

This is really amazing, but hey you should come up with louder rhythm track to go along with the lead, it's kinda empty sounding without one, I think it would add a lot more depth to this.

You're right, thank you for mentionig that - but reason is that I mixed music in stereo and after publishing the sound is mono - a lot different than what I wanted. Download the mp3 - rythm track is better.

Ogólnie sobie radzi, ale nie jest to jakaś rewelacja, choć dopiero po doświadczeniach z innymi to stwierdziłem. Brzmienie mało selektywne, dlatego wymieniłem przetwornik przy mostku na Seymoura SH-6. Teraz brzmi lepiej. W tej cenie to dobry model.

If you are talking about software, Audacity is a free program and for what i have read it works very well.

Even professional musicans use TonePort - because it's small, powerfull and you can take it everywhere, plug to your notebook and record. For hobby and semi-professional recordings TP is ok. You can record it's sound using a variety of different products like Audacity, Ableton Live, Sony Acid Pro, Cubase and many more.
