If you want to multi-task have one linux PC. It's got a ton of free 3D games (yes, FPS too) and only has like 3 viruses (less then a Mac!). It can use Skype, Firefox, Thunderbird and Pidgin! What else do you need? OpenOffice? It's the best OS IMO. Of course if you say Mac OS X is the best then you lose your privileges of an opinion. Fuck Mac.

Mulptiple screens are good if you have the desk real estate but a great alternative for the same function is the pager in Linux and Dexpot in Windows that gives you multiple screens through a desktop pager Dexpot is the one thing that lets me keep Windows7 on my desktop. .
