It would be a loss for Canada. They would say that Canada and Mexico would be more secure from terrorist attacks (following several false flags) and they would argue that Canada is obligated to join the Union because America protected Canada during the Cold War from Russia.
Yes, and they say thats bad for Canada. But its also bad for the US of course. Its too early to tell what the long term impact will be. More Canadians will shop in the US which is good for the CAN consumer, but bad for the CAN retailer.
