  • lol i saw the remains of the pier 2 weeks after the fire

  • We lost part of our town and it's history. I've seen fires before but watching this on the seafront Monday brought tears to my eyes. But today I walked along the main platform and am happy to say the shops are trading as normal! We will rebuild the Pavilion. Now all of us here must appreciate the support and wonderful tributes from all over the world. It shows that you don't need fatalities to make international news. We're ALL sad to lose one's history and memories. THANKS.

  • true tribute mate, nice 1

  • Well done. You made a finally shed a tear for a building that I have not been anywhere near since about 1992. But to see her gone, just shocking.

  • Wow this makes me cry.
