@Sora575 here's the thing I diffently want to expericnce the titanic in all it's glory but I wouldn't change history even if I had the chance I would only try to save myself and loved ones
hey guys im making a titanuic movie and when im finished i will post it on youtube.by the way if anyone has unused cardboard i could have or or a green screen that i could borrow send it to me at 1920 meadow springs ct russelville tn 37860 thanks
"Fifteen-hundred people went into the sea, when Titanic sank from under us. There were twenty boats floating nearby... and only one came back. One. Six were saved from the water, myself included. Six... out of fifteen-hundred. Afterward, the seven-hundred people in the boats had nothing to do but wait... wait to die... wait to live... wait for an absolution... that would never come."
3:45 to 3: 53 is my favorite part! I love the bass string instruments underneath the melody that just sweeps you off your feet! Absolutely gorgeous! James Horner is definitely a blessed composer!
The sad thing is that if this incident DIDN'T happen, maritime laws would not have changed (requiring lifeboats for all those aboard a ship) , the ice patrol wouldn't have ben founded to search for icebergs, AND the ignorance of mankind at the time would have continued to grow, thinking that technology could overpower nature and God himself.
This would have led to many other deaths in other sinkings and such.
So heres a good question: Would we really go back and stop it if we could?
@Sora575 It sounds messed up, but I wanna go back just to experience it, and then try and save myself.
But no, I don't think altering the past is good in any facet. You'd still have the memories of whatever happened, and not being able to talk to anyone about it would eat away at you. Can't change anything about your personal past, or the world's, even if you could go back in time.
@Sora575 Sadly, this is the truth in many cases...Mankind will always fall prey to its own arrogance. We aren't the smartest animals alive, we're just never happy with what we've got and we always want more. It's our greatest strength and at the same time, our greatest weakness.
@Sora575 good point mad but it think we could go back and stop it because if this disaster didn't happen the size and inadequacy of the ship would result in other accidents which would surly of occurred would of brought the law into question
@Sora575 what people dont realise is that 1) it was the captins fault and 2) titanic is only famous for one thing and one thng only, and that is that it had a lable as being "unsinkable" if titanic never had that lable then hardly anyone would know nothing about this ship
@JoshuaJJSkittles I'm afraid I am inclined to disagree on point one, In fact the captain did what was expected of him at the time, he lowered the course of the ship further south to avoid ice, he sped up to try and get through the ice bergs as quickly as possible, such was acceptable practice for captains of the day. As a personal opinion I believe Edward Smith was an honorable man, much more so than some captains of today *Cough* Francesco Schettino, He went with his ship, No more can be asked.
@JoshuaJJSkittles LMAO are you serious.I don't know whether to laugh at you or feel sorry for you.Sure the captain was at fault also but saying that Titanic is only famous for having the label "unsinkable" is just plain stupid.Man someone pass me some powder to slap this idiot around.
@Sora575 yes we would go back and change it. Thousands of people lost their lives during the Titanics one and only voyage. The odds are very small that a boat and an iceberg will collide in a 3-5000 mile ocean. I've watched the movie and its sad to think how somebody like you could watch that and not wish that it never would have happened.
I am actually glad that James Horner used the synthesizer for the vocals. If you have a copy of the soundtrack on CD, there's a writeup that James Cameron did that explains how the people in the movie (in character in the 1900s) aren't so very different from us people today. The synthesizer was one of the major things that helped "bridge the gap of time," and that is one of the reasons why everybody loves this movie. The "bridge" helps the experience be that much more real for viewers.
c'est génial de re écouter toutes ces chansons, quand j'étais ado ma mère m'avait offert le double cd collector pour mon anniversaire, j'étais heureuse et j'écoutais tout le temps.......le temps passe trop vite
To me, this scene in the movie is the saddest. Obviously Jack's death and when Rose jumps off the lifeboat back on to the ship and when the ship is tilting back and people are sliding down it to their deaths are all very wrenching. But when you watch the movie, this music with this scene just makes it all seem so wondrous. The ship is cruising along under blue skies. Jack and Fabrizio are having the time of their lives. But you know it's all going to end terribly. And they have no idea.
@dwilliams02 YES! Exactly! That's why whenever I watch this movie again, I cry at seeing their ecstatic faces because I know something they do not yet know. I wish I could jump in their and save them from their untimely deaths.
Best movie of all time, from the best director of all time, who collaborates with the greatest soundtrack composer of all time, & made the greatest soundtrack of all time. Damn!

the most romantic, beautiful film to grace hollywood with its presence. A work of art from the cinematography to the acting, and to the amazing soundtrack! I cry every time I see it, it can't be helped.
Titanic was yesterday on TV in Croatia and I was watching it like it was a first time.. I cried a lot on every touching scene...Without any doubt I could say that Titanic is the most amazing, beautiful, romantic and PERFECT movie EVER. I watched Titanic in 1997 when I was 6 years old and Titanic was my first movie watched in cinema. I cried lots of tears after cinema because I thought that Jack died...
gosh..i cant watch this movie all day...its amazing.. i never get tired of the movie.
Leo and Kate were just fantastic, its the only movie i cry to.. every single time.
i think about the real..tragic disaster..its like burned into my soul or something.
i can cry about the people who lost their husband or wife and childeren that day..its heartbreaking. i wish i could go back in time and change the disaster. James cameron..I thank him for making this movie
At 0:34 the enginges start to speed up, and thoses things are huge, its makes you realise just how grand the titanic was and they were probably bigger than that in real life!!
i can watch titanic for a week straight and not get tired of it. i've actually done that where i watch it once a day for awhile. this is the ONLY movie that i can do that with.
When Titanic comes back to the cinemas in 2012 we must take it back to number 1!!!!! and keep it number 1 for ever! copy paste this to every titanic video!
Remember when Fabrizio says I can see the Statue of Liberty from here, very small of course and with his accent, alawys makes me giggle when he says that.
@JuniorProducer1996 Oh ok, yeah I did see the movie a few weeks ago, I just couldn't tell if that was just something James Cameron decided to add at the end. Thanks for clearing that up.
@JuniorProducer1996 It isn't certain whether Rose dies at the end or not. James Cameron, when asked whether or not she dies or is dreaming, he replies "you decide". It's up to the viewer and their interpretation.
@WinMacTutorials There is no answer to that question. James Cameron, when asked whether or not she dies or is dreaming, he replies "you decide". It's up to the viewer and their interpretation.
Its a shame, the Titanic had so much meaning, so much potential, so much future purpose. And to think it was all thrown away due to some engineering flaws and ingnorance, just to save a few bucks.
@zxcuv4 Hmmm. Most romantic movie ever? Maybe. I'm not sure how you mean "romantic." If you just mean in the more literal definition as referring to Rose and Jack then I'm not sure I'd agree, but if by romantic you are talking more to the ideas of exactly how beautiful, emotional, descriptive, and tragic the entire thing is I would definitely have to second that.
@zxcuv4 I respecet for every passenger from Titanic to! I watched it maybe 20 times and watched it alone once, I bawled like a newborn baby...it was so sad...I wish it was just a made up story and no one really died in real life! I would take 63 lifeboats, they wanted 64...but British laws only permitt 16 boats....I feel so horrible watching this moive sometimes and not crying!
@chrissmercerr I was so obsessed with this film that I made models and stuff and when I was like 8 I took my mattress and played the movie while I was reenacting the movie as it was sinking with my stuffed animals. I love this film soo much
@TheChristmasFan I made my Titanic model when I was about twelve (97/98)... it took a while but it was great. I hate to sound so prehistoric but those were great times.
@chrissmercerr I know what you mean. I was seven the first time I saw this movie and even before seeing it I had a fascination with the Titanic. It just struck me as so tragic and yet so cool. I was seven. I don't really know exactly what my rationale was, but the point is that the entire tragedy of the actual events had always fascinated me. And then this incredible movie came out. Wow. I was seven and even then I mostly got it. Being 21 now, watching it just makes me feel so alive. So human.
Mr. Murdoch was one of the Titanic's Officers. I believe he tried to steer the Titanic away, anyway, he helped people board lifeboats and kept organization among the ship. Tragically, the brave Murdoch went down with the ship, like the thousand others.
there's an advert pop up on my screen advertising cruises. fitting i guess

This is the song they used in the I'm the King of the World scene, they probably shouldn't just named it that.

I hate to sound so prehistoric but those were great times.
kikefas 1 year ago 4
@chrissmercerr I know what you mean. I was seven the first time I saw this movie and even before seeing it I had a fascination with the Titanic. It just struck me as so tragic and yet so cool. I was seven. I don't really know exactly what my rationale was, but the point is that the entire tragedy of the actual events had always fascinated me. And then this incredible movie came out. Wow. I was seven and even then I mostly got it. Being 21 now, watching it just makes me feel so alive. So human.

There are a lot of "ifs" about how the Titanic would have been saved.
IF Fred Fleet had field glasses he said he would've spotted the berg earlier
IF Murdoch hadn't set the engines to reverse the ship could've turned faster.
The problem is, "IF" didn't happen.

To think the chorus was done with a keyboard!

@charlesdcw1990 Yes, but there is an actual chorus involved too. I do love the synthesizer though.

Mr. Murdoch was one of the Titanic's Officers. I believe he tried to steer the Titanic away, anyway, he helped people board lifeboats and kept organization among the ship. Tragically, the brave Murdoch went down with the ship, like the thousand others.
