In Beijing (Pekin) for Sunday, instead of saying Xinqitian you say Xinqiri (ri = 日).

Wednesday - Xing qi(San) Week+3

Thursday - Xing qi(Si) Week+4

Friday - Xing qi(Wu) Week+5

Saturday -Xing qi(leo) Week+6

If you go and learn the Chinese numbers 1-6 then you'll know it like a pro!

One would ask, why the distinction for Sunday? But, Xing qi qi would be awkward so I understand the different word (tian)other than qi. Xie Xie, Benny!

First of all, Sunday was a very special day in ancient times, that's why they named it under the name the sky which is "tiān", it means "sky and day"

Also "xīng qī qī" doesn't sound nice.

Benny, you forgot the Mandarin for Saturday (Saturday is a weekend, I believe).
