This video is totally spliced together. We can't here any chanting IN the church... only outside of the Church. Muslims have their call to prayer at specific times and it happened to fall then. Guys, there is A LOT of persecution against Christians in Turkey and Egypt to name a couple. This isn't it. Let's not cry wolf. Let's expose the REAL persecution. People are denied human right, equality and DYING. That's the REAL stuff. Not this.

The bullhorns are pointed into the Church? There are no Muslims needed to be called to prayer in a Church. This is a deliberate act.

I too am outraged by the lack of concern the Western Intrntionl Commnty shows for the constant marginalization and persecution the Turkish gov't shows toward my Orthodox brethern and the Kurds. It is a joke that Turkey is even remotely considered to be Western.

I think the people who made this video don't know the difference, but they did notice the Muslim call to prayer bullhorns. Thanks for the video, and thanks for showing how tolerant the Beautiful the Patriarch composes and keeps his church during such an outrageous lack of humanity from the Muslims, and down right unneighborly of them.

This is the Christmas Divine Liturgy held in the Patriarchal cathedral of St George.

"Mass" is a Roman Catholic service; the Orthodox Church has the Divine Liturgy.
