I have been living in Austin TX for almost 6 years now, and soon I will be coming back to CR to live with my wife who is from Houston and is 100% gringa. I'm Costa Rican and I have to say that all that have been said in this video is veridic, but there are some places and some people that are completely ok with the being and acting gay thing. I'm gay and honestly I've never been victim of any kind of discrimination, In fact it's funny to see that in high social ranks there is no problem, also Costa Rican youth is amazingly different from the older people. The police in costa rica are uneducated, they don't know the law, they are just there because somebody has to get a job. They don't understand the concept of free speech, or liberty in general. They are ignorant people. If a police officer personally thinks that what you are doing is wrong then the law doesn't matter. They'll bother you.
