I have one question

For anivia's Q, can you control the projectile distance? Some people stun enemy right in front of them with Q... Help?

@kjin0815 Yes, clicking "Q" once projects your FF, clicking it again will cause your FF to burst causing AOE damage. If you time it right you can get double damage. Damage for going through a target and damage from the AOE burst.

hey, im wondering.. how do you shorten the length of ur q? I always miss that in laning phase, BUT when i see other anivia players play her.. they can make her q travel half the distance instead of that full length.. does it have to do anything with smart cast? >_^

@Tinnguyen123 You can hit Q again after firing the FF to detonate it early, while it's travelling. That's particularly useful for landing a stun while you're trying to escape from a gank. :P

Isn't clarity better for Anivia because It needs alot of mana? Clarity restores alot of mana and more when lvling up :)

@AleksiQV Its a common idea to get clarity among newer Anivia players. Simple put it is just ok for laning and late game falls off relative to other summoners late. Laning the extra mana is nice, but not needed if you know how to manage you mana. Late game when a team fight or kill can decide a game, something like ghost, flash or ignite is more important. Fights late game are short and quick and do not require sustainability. Also, with the right items you will not need the extra mana.

Chalice of harmony and alot of mana, then it regenerates shockingly fast.

I've only played with Anivia 2 weeks and almost won every single match and most often stayed in the middle, but far away from being 1 among the real pros xD

Also, does Frostbite make even more damage if the enemy has been attacked with Flash Frost and Glacial Storm at the same time? Shouldn't it slow down extra or is there a limit? Interesting :)

@AleksiQV Not mana regeneration, just a large pool of mana. Items like Tear of the Goddess and Catalyst. Keep up the Anivia playing! FF only does 2x damage if they are chilled and it does not keep stacking. =)

@brokenglasses12 I played a few games without Clarity and after a while i saw that mana wasn't so much needed. The other spells were more usefull when I think back ^^

Are you suppose to use smart casting? And how do you frostbite without clicking on the person you want to frostbite?

@notlengthy Using smart cast helps alot with some skills. That is how I frostbite without clicking on the person. You can change your e and r key to the smart cast by going to options and I think its call key binding or something. It takes a little while to get used to the smart casting but is well worth it.

@tenmaruhakuchou Your right getting a wall at lvl 4 is a very good idea. I sometime do get it at lvl 4 but didn't that game. If you read my full guide it recommends both getting wall at lvl 4 and not.

@hatemuffin You need to detonate FF right after it passes over them to get the double damage. You can practice this on minions(will clearly see the difference in damage). Half the damage come from FF going through them and the other half comes form the splash damage of FF exploding. So, you just need to time it so that it gets both of these effects happening, which is ruffly when FF has past over them completely.

@hatemuffin Yes, I am sure that it is still like that. Its not a stupid question at all. Abilities get changed often, however the AOE on FF has not been change. It is a good sized AOE and remember many games back some opponents being surprised by its size. It just take practice to get use to the bursting it at the right time. You will get use to getting the double damage with time.
