Damn good movie. When I first watched this it was the 90s and I was only about six or seven. It made me interested in geology: I brought home several books on geology/paleontology from my town's library. The best thing this movie can do for you is this: It will expand your imagination, making you see the earth for what it truly is. An enigma... Obviously there's no huge meat-eating subterranean worms in real life; nevertheless, imagine what a couple of million years of evolution can do!
