Hmm... let's see.... He reused some lines... in his reviews of the same games James reviewed. No, that's just coincidence, not plaigarism. He takes the idea of destroying the game cartridge to whole new, unwanted level. He tries to start his own line of rants of little things in everyday life... but it fails because he chose some of the stupidest topics. Oh, btw James did the same thing only his weren't as bad...

James does the Ghostbusters review with a proton pack, Irate for Zombies Ate my Neighbors dresses up as a Ghostbuster.

Well the AVGN did spire tons of reviewers :D some of them being great like alexander4488, Ebeeto, srgamers and TheDeftGamer :D none of them being a rip off, but showing the spiration they got from the nerd with original ideas and all the good stuff. also some bad reviewers like the Irate gamer.. whos just sad.... :D ♥

Except his early reviews including TMNT and Back to the Future are almost word for word review. There is plenty of evidence that I'm not even going to get into. His newer reviews are just a cheap rip-off.

And yeah people can imitate James, however there is a difference, if its badly done its just a rip-off. However you can be inspired by the james. No one wants a copy especially a cheap copy.

You diddn't mention the blantant copies of James's videos. The one that stands out the most is the "toasty" pop-up in McKids that Chris ripped off in one of his earlier reviews, not to mention destroying the games. But your free to your own opinion.

What you're saying is true, but there is a certain air of cheapness when I watch a video by the irate gamer. I don't know if it's because he's a terrible actor, or because he sucks so bad at every game he plays. But there seems to be a lack of genuine sincerity. Whether that's true or not, the Nerd invokes something in us that we can relate to in our past video game frustrations. The same goes for your videos. Even if you were to quote the Nerd word for word, I feel like I'd know if they were

All in all these so-called flame wars are pretty pathetic, but there's a certain arrogance and douchiness about Chris Bor(ing)es that makes me want to tell him how far from cool he is after watching one of his videos.
