Turboed Elantra Running

Guys, wtf you doing...don't put a turbo in these cars, its pointless...their automatic or 5 speed at best and you'll still get smoked by POS honda's...

Buy a german car instead.

i did have to tap the oilpan for a return line.

@DDPBOYDE3 i tapped my oil pan for the return and had a custom hose made at a local hose shop. as for the feed, on the head, front driverside of the beta 2 motor there is a little bolt on the side... that comes out and is a great feed spot

@maquinaguitarra - stock internals.... there are guys boosting up to 12psi on stock internals. i was boosting 8psi on my first setup and 10psi on my second set up

I'm not sure what all the hating is about but that's some work you put into that car. I'm a muscle car guy and I love our Hyundai. Its really unbeatable.

@vintimv001 u can but its going to come out more expensive then just getting the stock engine at a junk yard ,becuse onece youve put the elantra engine into the gst your going to have truble moding the sensors to work properly and the ecu will need to b reprogramed

Why even Think of putting a Hyundai motor in the Eclipse GST? That makes zero sense when its cheaper in the long run to replace with the same engine. Not to mention the 4g63 engines are awsome!

I tapped the oil pan oil feed i got from the front top bolt on the center of the block. unscrewed it and that was that.

Yeah I wanna know where the hell to get a turbo kit for my elantra too. It's a 2000. I would to make it a sleeper. I would keep all extra gauges low out of sight and just slap people.

lol the spanish translation thing was funny. besides that, two things to consider, is that big front mount causing alot of resistance for the small turbo? then again ur getting a bigger one. maybe consider relocating ur battery and moving the intake farther to the side so ur not sucking in the hot air from around the headers. just some things to consider

thats a good idea. the intake that came with the chargepipes put hte intake behind the fog.  i didnt want any issues with water like i had with my CAI so i cut my CAI to make that intake. i like ur idea of relocating the battery, i'll think about doin that. thanks
