My prayers go out to all of the family and friends of the victims. Losing the beautiful Emily Keyes was one of the hardest things I have ever gone through and I hope that one day we can live in a world with acts of kindness, not violence.
My condolences to the families of all the victims that are no longer here with us. People need to understand is that sometimes people are blind to see the truth front of their eyes because mankind is weak. WE ARE WEAK. Sick people always criticizes other cultures for being responsible for the shooting. I am vietnamese who lives in the U.S. live for my friends and family because I value life. I just have to add - regarding Prof. Liviu Librescu who was killed in the Virginia Tech masacre - this man survived the holocaust, another result of brutal and vicious hate. In Virginia Tech he died in his attempt to save other students by blocking the murderer and allowing other students to escape.
I think it should be remembered as well as the others off course.

Even though a metal detector would help to eliminate guns in schools, Someone who was determined to bring a gun would find a way to sneak one inside. And also, if they couldn't do that, they would find another way to try and take out the school. Like through fire, bombs or drive bys. Metal detectors help to stop these since less acts. But they can not eliminated them. I fear that we can never stop this madness.

I hope you guys know that there weren't ONLY school shootings in the US. They've occured worldwide! Recently again in Finland. What about the vicitms there? What about the victims of school shootings in Germany, Britain & even Beslan in 2004!? They were all innocent! Plz don't forget about them. I'm German & still remember the shooting 2002 that killed 17! Thanks for your respective and my thoughts go out to all families of the many victims caused by horrible shooting rampagnes.

And that was wrong. Horribly wrong of the people to do that. It makes me sick to think of what some kids go through, but can you honestly say that makes it ok to murder people? If that's the case then you'tr giving permission to people to kill one another. Do you really want to see another school shooting? What about those middle schoolers? Think of someone you love so much that it would kill you for them to be violently mirdered like these students. Now think of that person shot to death.

My condolences to the families of all the victims that are no longer here with us. People need to understand is that sometimes people are blind to see the truth front of their eyes because mankind is weak. WE ARE WEAK. Sick people always criticizes other cultures for being responsible for the shooting. I am vietnamese who lives in the U.S. live for my friends and family because I value life. Perhaps this day will have us work together instead of living in fear of each other.

This is so sad - my heart goes out for these victims and their familes.
I just have to add - regarding Prof. Liviu Librescu who was killed in the Virginia Tech masacre - this man survived the holocaust, another result of brutal and vicious hate. In Virginia Tech he died in his attempt to save other students by blocking the murderer and allowing other students to escape.
I think it should be remembered as well as the others off course.

Even though a metal detector would help to eliminate guns in schools, Someone who was determined to bring a gun would find a way to sneak one inside. And also, if they couldn't do that, they would find another way to try and take out the school. Like through fire, bombs or drive bys. Metal detectors help to stop these since less acts. But they can not eliminated them. I fear that we can never stop this madness.

I never imagine that many people have been killed in School Shooting. Did you know that one of the boys in Jonesboro School Shooting was arrested for drugs found in his car. How many chances will he get. My deepest sympathy for all those effected by school violence.
