I've seen this before,it got ugly.When the poor,(unsuspecting)lads in the audience were shouting for Zep tunes, our leather clad dominatrix pulled rank..She is intimidating onstage(no one in their right mind messes with her!)While J.P.'s up there splitting a gut laughing at the spectacle,Diamanda is informing these boyz(in 5 different languages)how she's going to sodomize them. You had to be there.

A testament to J.P.'s refined,eclectic, musical palette...he's a huge fan, they recorded The Sporting Life together and toured.The most avante-garde project he's done,and the closest she's ever come to rock..what a musical pairing! Her brooding/shreiking/operatic howls punctuated by his heavenly bombastic/fluid/throbbing musical expertise et voila, it was grand, and I was there in the flesh!
