Haha I love Rube Goldberg machines and this series of them is the best I've seen so far! Even though they look like they're for the Japanese equivalent of PBS, these are amazing!
these are videos from a japanese program called pitagora switch (ピタゴラスイッチ)as you can see at the end of every rube goldberg. Its a pretty interesting program, bout 5 mins of the program every day on sattelite TV in Uk :P Just saying for the people that dont know hehe
not sure because i watch it on JSTV (japan sattelite tv) but its on nhk so i think you'll be able to find out on their website but its in japanese so you wouldnt be able to understand unless you can read japanese :P
actually it's the name of a children's tv show on channel NHK in Japan. They take household items (for the most part) and make rube goldberg machines to show before and after the show ends.
just think... this must have taken long enough to even plan out all the courses, but to then set them up! well done to that person. I love these little machine things, so mesmerising
1:55 to 2:05 is my favorite one.
PeterGr1f1n 2 years ago
Think about how many times they had to shoot this until the machines did it exactly right.

To all who are wondering what the "theme music" is:
They are literally singing "Pythagoras Switch" in Japanese, if I am not mistaken.
