@Pumpkineata1 Year Zero while good, doesn't deserve the same credit Broken or Fragile has. It's all relative to opinions I suppose though. The project he recent did "How to Destroy Angels" is pretty incredibly. Reminds me of his older work.

@ ZenoEffect It's hard to say Trent is getting better with age when you look back at all the great work he put out when he was younger. But he is evolving, experimenting, and making sure he doesn't become stagnant like so many other artists do when they've been around forever.

I do love his newer work as well...don't get me wrong. It's just that each album brings something new to the table and it makes it hard to quantify its greatness compared to other albums. They are all so different IMO.

Its also possible the person who made this video used a higher quality, or even the FLAC version to create this, which would bring out extra sounds that you might not have heard otherwise. But that's all the explanation I would have for the extra noises.

I remember listening to the entire DS album in the dark in high school and I said to myself holy shit that freaked me out, and I woudn't luisten to the CD again for like a week. Haha. Pretty good this sounds like its kinda shifted back to the "With Teeth" album sound. Which is great because I love that album" I don't care for "Year Zero" too much though. As for "The Slip" I thought this album was from their unreleased material from "The Downward Spiral" era but I guess I was wrong from reading one of the reviews for this album. Its awesome that Trent put a new EP out. I can't wait to hear the rest of this album!
