@dzhabrail92 I don't go to fast food restaurants but I know a lot of them - it's hard to avoid their TV advertising. Muslims also "advertise" their faith in the media. Sadly, it's very poor advertising - religious fanatics, suicide bombers, terrorists. Enough to put most people off Islam forever. If Muslims want to appeal to others they should clean up their act first.

Most of them are no doubt great people, but why are Muslim leaders so slow to condemn the actions of their extremists (like in Nigeria right now)? If extremist Muslims blame the US and vice versa, the violence will never end. We should learn from people like Gandhi or M L King to fight for what is right without violence. Both the US and Muslims have much to learn from them.

I condemn them as much as I condemn the state of Israel, US, Russia, if somebody does terrible things I don't care if they call themselves Muslims, Christians or democrats ....... Unfortunately, there seems to be not a single majority Muslim country in the world that would be free, democratic and guarantee a full freedom of speech & religion. If Islam is so great to you, please show it to everyone - we need deeds, not words. I am not against Islam, but there is a lot of ridiculous stuff in it, and Maher shows it.

@jaguarex007 Do you actually believe that there is countries in the world that can guarantee freedom of speech? Or there is "democracy" somewhere? There is no such thing as democracy in general, as long as population is quiet and law-abiding - there is some illusion of democracy and freedom, but as soon as you say something displeasingly to the government - jail or death. And those "human rights" are just words, USA and UN had proven that they don't care about democracy and human rights.

Death penalty has no place in civilised society. Want proof? Compare how many Muslims migrate to Western countries and how many Westerners migrate to Muslim ones. Who would like to live in a place with barbaric practices - stoning, genital mutilation, whipping, torture, cutting off arms? I now rest my case.

Although I don't agree at all with his point of view that Doubt is the way to go, he brings up a lot of valid points and exposes a lot of iniquity and superstition in the church. I like his frank questioning and commenting which is never truly asked in church but yet is on everybodies mind. It is shocking that the people who answer him, doesn't give accurate answers that makes sense, but answers with second hand knowledge instead of pesonal experience and true and biblical knowledge of God.
