What most fail to SEA is.... those dolphins were slaughtered simply because the people were told "dolphins are eating so much of the fish in sea their is little for people" so dolphins are treated as pests to be slaughtered. The real TRUTH is over 50 nuclear power plants strategicly placed all around Japan leaching RADIOACTIVE water into the sea daily killing all MARINE life & poisoning the remaining(fish food supply). My DU radiation playlist addresses these concerns, very carefully.
@defyignorance I did too! It's very one-sided and they used that tactic to get people angry, and they succeeded in doing that. However, what we've got now are hundreds of racist idiots going around saying stupid things, all because of this video.
@LovelyMaiii...Don't worry too much though. It's just a video about a movie. There is not much that is real about movies ( especially these days ). Some folks got together and decided to make a little money and "The Cove" is how they did it. If a bunch of asians snuck around a beef slaughterhouse and made asses of themselves, they would have gotten the same treatment as the jokers who made "The Cove".
Love alone can't help these dolphins, neither can hate (although I hate the fishermen) what can help is everyone educating themselves, and telling other people this story about what is happening. Education is what will save these animals, nobody would eat meat if they knew if was poisonous. Nobody would go a dolphin/orca show if they knew that the selling of wild dolphins is what fuels the slaughter of these animals. Education is priceless.
the people who hit, kill, slice and do whatever to them need shooting on the spot and i would happily be the one to do it. I have looked into the eyes of a dolphin and i burst out crying. i have never in my life seen so much love in anything/anyone's eyes even now i am crying even thinking back to it and how beautiful it was. you'll never be the same if you experience it. i have a strange bond with horses, dogs and dolphins. amazing! :-) nice vid :-)
@blahdiblah2010 Having looked in the dolphin's eyes many times myself, I understand your great love for them... to honor them is, to me, to treat their captors and killers the same way the dolphins treat them; rather than with hatred, to treat them with compassion, for they don't know the beauty of the lives they are taking... Compassion, my friend, that is what the dolphins would have us send to the fishermen...
@celebrating108 .. we look for even more of the compassion jon. A level to bring awareness to all of Japan to move them towards active support of the dolphin they love. The killers have progressed to a shocking, mechanical speed of herding, hiding, and butchering under tarps. More than dolphin suffer .. you will find the entire world crying in frustration. Please message me to bring more unity of approach. Timing is very good for Ho'oponopono within the major forces and groups of Facebook.
For anyone that hasn't watched "The Cove" type on google it should be the first choice, the site lets you watch it for free even though it won many awards. They are true to their word, they want to make people aware of this tragedy and not make money off this. Thumps up this message it could help make a difference.
"The Cove" is an award winning documentary exposing the dolphin slaughter in Japan. There’s a man who’s uploaded a nasty rebuttal video against this brilliant documentary. If you care about these dolphins, please go to his video, thumb it down (dislike), & leave a comment if you feel strongly. His channel is "TheJapanChannelDcom", & his video is "The Cove - A Waste of Time" link: watch?v=DN22mAI9r24
@CecilTheSeaMonster That guy isn't even against Dolphins... his video is about common sense for the most part. His overall message was if they really wanted to help the Dolphins they make the film in Japan.
@CecilTheSeaMonster Yeah I watch it. Seems the only one on crack is you being delusional to cut your common sense from reality. The did not make the film within Japanese studios. It was a bunch of westerners sneaking behind the scenes showing it off. Like that guy clearly says if THEY really wanted to save the Dolphins and not worry about just trying make money off the money. They would had used Japanese Studio to convinced the SOURCE of the problem. Not aggravate the Japanese.
@wannabethug7 Sorry, but your broken English is hard to follow. I suggest that if you want a Westerner to understand you, that you type proper English. And why would they make the film in ANY studio??? It's not a studio-type film with studio stages & sets & props. It's a fucking documentary. Do you even know what that means? LMFAO! Go back to your crack pipe & your 10 yen sucky fucky whore, little boy!
@CecilTheSeaMonster Yeah sorry I replied to your comment late and didn't proofread. But trying convinced a delusional radical is a waste of time regardless.
@CecilTheSeaMonster I've just read Brazil hunt dolphin too and in Peru, thousands of dolphins are still killed illegally by fishermen each year. Although exact numbers are not known, the Peruvian organisation Mundo Azul (Blue World) claims it. To catch the dolphins, they are driven together with boats and encircled with nets, then harpooned, dragged on to the boat, and clubbed to death if still alive. Various species are hunted, such as the Bottlenose and Dusky Dolphin
I'm so happy I found this video, The Cove made me feel hate towards the fishermen too. Thank you so much for uploading it. :) Love really does change the world, I also believe in Ho'Oponopono.. :)
Whats the reason for some to eat a dog or a cat or a monkey? Is it good tasting, do they choose to eat a dog over lamb, Prob not, so for all the human rights, make a difference animal lovers, if you want to make a difference help the people who don't have food and in mean time be happy you don't have to eat a old nasty dog or feed it to your children
My dad showed me this movie, and it inspired me to become an activist someday. Though I'm only 15, I decided to at least make a difference. I got one of my teachers to watch the movie, and I told him to show it to every class possible in the high school department in my school, as a film showing. :)
@Killerlady118 It sounds like you are already an activist! Here's to spreading awareness through our loving action, for it is the action of love that they will remember... and it is the action of love that will inspire the highest possible action in them! :)
Same culture of eating marine mammals in European. The porpoise of the dolphin family are popular food in 15th-18th Century. There r many recipes of porpoise (even for the King) from West Europe.
However, sushi came to be praised to the skies as in the white man society when a scholar said when there "were many figures that a Japanese was different from a white man, and was slender, the reason was because it was it as for the fish food culture a Japanese".
The Mister Charlie will eat a whale if a scholar says that "the whale meat is healthy food".
@taihuu25go Yes every culture has its historical food. I do not condemn anyone's food choices, and I do advocate the loving appreciation of cetaceans.
People living in the north have a cooking ingredient produced only in the north, and there is a cooking ingredient to be able to catch to south people only in the south.
It is difficult for urban people to know all the differences of those food culture.
I didn't understand all parts of this video... But I think you give a touching message and I liked the video a lot. Swimming with them must be an indescribable feeling.
@celebrating108 So will it be for them preventing there families from starvation with feeding them dolphin meat, world ain't a hollywood movie and it aint a fairy tale. How many dolphins are killed and how many kids die every day around the world of starvation and no water
@Killerlady118 It's not right to do because Hollywood have placed this image of dolphin being a pet kind animal, to them a dolphin is no more and no less of a animal then say tuna, and we catch, kill and eat tuna don't we. Flipper aint a heroe just everywhere
@Killerlady118 I'm focusing only on bullshit and 2 faced people. Point fingers and curse is easy, find out how the animals you eat are treated and killed will give you perspective on reality
You do have a good point, people should be better informed about how the animals they consume are treated. However, anti-whalers usually are and don't eat meat in the first place.
You do have a good point, people should be better informed about how the animals they eat are treated. However, anti-whalers usually are well informed about these things, and usually don't eat meat in the first place.
@Killerlady118 So what, next you gonna tell me you don't use electricity, paper, gas, trow trash, use clothes and the list is long, and from every one of the things i can link to some killing of animals. Your missing the point your in the circle of life you, you don't get no right to point finger and curse anybody else unless you live of air
@ttttiiiittttoooo first, i didn't curse you okay? are you paranoid or something? all i said was that I was a vegan. and you got all weird about it, telling me that i probably don't use electricity. All i said was I'm a vegan. don't go jumping to conclusions and judging me because you don't know me. All i said was that they were poisoning themselves when they eat whale meat. and for your information, i didn't point any fingers. are you annoyed at vegans or something? it's my decision to be one
@ttttiiiittttoooo The percentage of animals killed from the other causes you list is negligible compared to the number of animals killed for food. "The circle of life"? Remember that it wasn't until recently that humans started eating as much meat as they do today. Meat was a luxury, eaten once a week, not thrice a day. Eating meat as we do today is unsustainable. Animal agriculture produces so much waste (i.e. feces, urine) and uses too much resources (10 lbs grain = 1 lb meat).
I'm for the humane treatment of animals AND human beings. so dont get me wrong.. im not against the killing of dolphins. but there is no need for a film to target or antagonize one group or one country, of course, unless it's done on purpose. the film could have easily included other countries currently killing dolphins as part of a film about dolphins killing. Instead it chose to target japan. What about Denmark or Norway?
The 27 japanese fishermen don’t kill more dolphins than denmark and norway. The cove fuels racism/hate/discrimination by excluding other countries n focusin on one group or one country...japan. to be exact…it focuses on "THE SECRET OF JAPAN" more than dolphins killed around the world. it's like making an HIV film and only focus on african. who does that.
28,000 dolphins are killed every year In Japan alone and that is just the beginning. We always say someone should do something. Why not us? Why not today? Please visit Students for Cetaceans on Facebook. Learn about the cause, see those involved and already you are helping save lives. Thank you so much
We use cows for a life source. We must teat them to eat. Besides I don't think cows can surf! And in the series Blood Dolphins they focus on Denmark, Japan and all the dolphin-hunting countries.
@mattmatt1102 IF 20,000 cats were found slaughtered in a parking lot in New York city... the media would eat it up and people would be outraged. This is Auschwitz for dolphins.
It's about animal rights isnt it? smart or dumb, they should all have equal rights. how many animals (from rats to monkeys) do we kill for profits and research? Don't forget the massive number of dogs and cats we kill everyday because we can't take care of them. how about the animals we hunt for kill joy? if this is how we treat our animals, who r we to tell others what to do? I hope this doc saves more animals than fuel racism. watch how they portray japanese ppl. shame, it's racism in disguise
On Sept 10th, 2010, Ric O'Barry (creator of THE COVE) will be hand delivering a petition to the US Consulate in Japan to pressure the gov't to shut down THE COVE ( the killling of Dolphins )...
cows are considered sacred to some people's view, so when do we stop killing cows for their peace of mind?
to Obarry and supporter of this COVE movement, try doing something else with your life besides being a hypocrite and living off the wealth built on racism, slavery and western colonizations.
don't focus on "SAVING DOLPHINS" when you're having burger for lunch.
how about making a diff in the lives of ppl still suffering from past slavery and colonizations
@fearvixen i'm not going to lie there are some true facts The Cove has to offer, but for the most part The Cove is either a complete LIE (Sea world buys dolphins from Taiji) , or highly FABRICATED (bottlenose dolphins are endangered)
if you wanna safe the dolphins that's great but Rick O' Barry isn't telling you the 100% honest truth to the public and that makes me mad, also if you eat meat and wanna safe the dolphins it's rather hypocritical
@celebrating108 We are partners. Count me in for anything you think of that I can help with !!!! Love and light all around !! Not one more murdering death. The world over. Thank you for all you do. Everyone of you !!
Kauft keine japanische Autos, keine Elektroartikel , keine Tourismus usw....... !
captivaty hmmm i agre this wrong but what about fuckn seaworld isnt that just as bad and with those whales attacking people what do u expect? iwould do the samething if u take me from my home and force me to live in an boring enclouser the pool is even plain to(i dont no if that makes a differnence but u get what i mean )
"...look at these lonely houses, each in its own fields, filled for

There is apparently a lack of a high school or university in Taiji, Japan to help educate the people about helpful & better information that many educated people take for granted. How does great information reach undereducated people? The same way it has already been done - with respect. I understand that pearls provide an income there. How about installing a technical college that teaches information about how to manage a great pearl business? A new high school will provide new jobs too. HP
We can choose compassion without borders, exception or excuse; the alternative choice is mutual deprivation as natural consequence. Albert Einstein described the "human delusion of separateness". Humans are very slow to learn that we continue to suffer because our fellow creatures - our spiritual messengers - continue to suffer. Pythagorus taught: ·"For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seed of murder and pain cannot reap joy and love".
I admire your convictions, but in reality most people in the world are just like ravenous wolfes, look at what we do to each other, can you expect we treat animals any better. I hate anyone that does not respect life, anyone that exploits and harm defenseless animals or other people, and my HATE keeps me save and keeps them away from me, sadly, brute force and violence somethimes is the only option! Love is reserved for the ones who deserve it...
Hatred makes us isolated and alone, which gives us the illusion of safety... Yes, there are many people who do hurtful things; all their actions come from their own hurt.... Compassion for others (and self!) brings us love, peace, connection and a safety that extends beyond this world...
This video is sweet, love the captions. The Dolphins are not just these cute animals they are highly intelligent mammals that should be respected and kept out at sea and not brought in for the entertainment of people. It kills me that people want to spend so much money to swim with the dophins that are held in captivity when as clearly seen in this video you can do it in their natural environment for free. I also feel sorry for the Japanese who are being fed dolphin without even knowing it.
@HolyheadUK EAT SHIT AND DIE.Research well before you comment.will not take your insulting words.so goodbye!wont have conversation with people who talk trash.SAYONARA!
@mamika302910 I have researched, you cock, thats why I'm giving you facts. Thats so typical of a person like you who cant respond to REAL facts so they say I'm talking trash. You disgust me you scum bag!
@HolyheadUK Your language sheds light on the kind of person you are, and YOU disgust ME and I'm not the person you wrote these things about. I think anyone reading what you wrote knows who the real scumbag is.
@watchtheduck1 Hmmm one minute you're telling me I'm a complete scum bag and I disgust you then the next minute you're agreeing with me, make your mind up. Why would you say those things if I am completely against this sickening, barbaric act? Maybe your language sheds light on your mental state.
Although I do agree the BP oil spill was a huge disaster that could have been avoided, but this isn't a video on the oil spill. It's a video on the barbaric dolphin hunts taking place in Japan. Personally I don't believe dolphins are 'cute' as you all keep referring to. I believe they are incredibly intelligent creatures, much more intelligent than we are. I say this because they can live in harmony with us, but we cannot live in harmony with them
I know one thing for sure: I don't like you, gasbag. ~ Dolphins are as worthy to live as cows, pigs and chicken. And if the Japanese decide to kill Dolphins instead (or in addition) to these animals, it is their RIGHT to do so. Go cry me a river but c'est la réalité.
you know the funny thing is, we are so worried about other countries going around killing "cute" animals for their food source yet we forget to cap our own oil spill thats been going on unplugged for 3 months straight possibly causing more devastation than what these countries do
@tenjinnim that was an accident. It is not that they kill the animals for food, but the way it is done. Have you watched the hunt and how they terrorize them?
@jesussavedyouandme you want to know the sad part of the accident... it took them 3 months to cap the damn thing. thats no accident, thats called politics... look back to exxon valdez spill, and compare it to this one... FYI- any sort of hunting is going to terrorize the animal... your killing it...
...to buy seafood. Regarding the film, yes I knew it was every year, think in September although I'm not 100% certain. Even though they only do it once a year, it gives the dolphins no time to reproduce. I'm not exactly sure what happens to the young dolphins that are captured in the film, whether they are released or killed I do not know. Do you know the real reason why they kill the dolphins? The film suggests many reasons but I'd rather hear your point of view
@mamika - I have read up on the case you mentioned, I didn't realise there had been a case of foot & mouth over there. When I said temporary ban, It would have to be an international effort, everyone country joining in & providing for countries which may depend on seafood. Realistically I don't think a ban would ever take place as there is too much money involved, but sooner or later they will have to reduce the limits that are set to fishermen, this in turn may make it more expensive
do you also realize that dolphin hunt are done yearly(not daily)in small village(not the whole country)in japan?and it is not like they kill hundreds.you saw the movie..i pressume.
@mamika302910 I agree. Its not 100s its 1000s you moron. I have a suggestion, take your head out of your arse and wake up. Did you know the Japs fished for so many Blue Whales they became extinct in them waters, not a single one was found so in the 60's they fished for them off Chile and caught and killed every one they came across. Thats the mentality of the country - kill, kill, kill until theres nothing left. There are now less than 5000 Blue Whales left, when will you wake up and realize?
are you aware that miyazaki ken..japan's 2nd largest source of livestock suffers an outbreak of food-and-mouth disease?banning or stopping fisheries are not a very good idea..dont you think?
@mamika - Surely killing these dolphins has a 'knock on effect' on the surrounding ecosystem, water quality etc? Regarding the fishing problems I would suggest either stricter fishing limits, or even a temporary ban just to help get the numbers back up.
@mamiko this video is set in japan, you've even checked my other video which I am complaining at AUSTRALIAN fishermen, every country has to change not just Japan, so don't try twisting my words.
Before blame Taiji dolphin hunting, US citizens should stop to eat tuna can. Even if it's with Dolphin free, It's produced in latain american countries.
japn fisheries should change their current strategies.i saw that on tv documentary and newspaper.they are really in big trouble.and they are currently studying and looking for solution.but we still can not impose the idea of changing the diet of people here.for them its fish..shellfood..seaweeds..veggies and a little meat.so my suggestion goes..proper training and informing people.(^_-)-☆
No it isn't a theory, they have checked year by year stats & can see the decline, that's why I say it could be as early as 2048, 'as early' is not necessarily a set date
give your own species a little crdit.just try researching how norway improved their fisheries.and stop worrying too much.but do not let things taken for granted.contribute by acting.sayonara.will be veryvery busy.i have a life, you know.i hope i proved to you that i know what i am talking.have a good life.v
..At the end of 2006, the journal Science reported that the world's fisheries could collapse by as soon as 2048 if current fishing and oversight practices continue. This could spell disaster for marine life and the coastal communities that depend on the marine environment for survival.
..Modern technologies in fishing practices including bigger nets, longer lines, and larger fleets coupled with inadequate oversight of fishing operations by many nations have contributed to the decline, the results of which are rapidly becoming frighteningly obvious.....
i won't dream of stopping fishermen or people consuming seafoods..but i'd rather support them planning or informing..how to make things better.I heard Norway succeeded and fishermen there not to overdo fishing..and they really have good catch.
hey!you censored my reply..i said..nothing we can do about it..BUT TAKE A LITTLE ACTIONS.Instead of letting your money do the actions..e.g. donating in some enviromentalist group..god knows where your hard earned money goes.lets take part by actually doing SOMETHING NOT VIOLENT OR AGGRESSIVE like plant trees..and veggies on your own backyard.and yeah..informing others that killing animals for fun is not healthy.
Overfishing not only threatens the future survival of targeted fish species but it also wreaks havoc on the balance of whole ecosystems and creatures that depend on ocean resources, including people...
One more question before I go to bed, i gather you are from Japan right? If so have you ever eaten/know anyone who has eaten dolphin, & whether it tastes nice & has nutritional value etc? In your opinion what are the main seafood sources in Japan?
I never doubted Japan would have Eco-friendly programs like the ones you mentioned, but surely you have to realise creatures like dolphins aren't sustaintable food sources given their growth rate? I believe the majority of Japanese people are good people, it's the small handful that run these operations.
Also you say, & I quote; "as there are those that goes extinct.nothing we can do abt it..", well yes, in this day & age, where our knowledge & education is so much greater I believe we can stop problems like this before it's too late.
Ok I understand now you have elaborated your reply. Yes pollution is a main factor I agree. Nature is very powerful, but as the world is overpopulating at an alarming rate, world scientists & experts have said that all ocean stocks will run out by 2048, & this is just based on over fishing, not including other factors such as pollution like you said. Please check this fact you'll find it anywhere online. So maybe you can re-think your comment on ocean stocks?
Where I live in England is a small countryside town, & I get my meat from a local butcher, & the meat is locally sourced. As for vegetables I really don't eat enough of them to say where they come from, but I can say we are fairly capable of growing our own vegetables here. As for Ric; I have mixed feelings about him, he IS fighting for a good cause BUT part of me thinks this may be also his past coming back to haunt him. He, like the writer of Jaws, unknowingly caused more damage than good.
here in japan..they have strict rules about reducing and recycling garbages.government has programs like culturing fishes and even fireflies and letting school children send it back to mother nature.they care about ecology specially oceans..after all it is their life.their source of foods and livelihood.it isn't that bad as it seems.japanese people are not heartless and barbaric.they have a choice on what to eat..we can not force them our values and beliefs.
and i am no expert but i think nature is nature.at this very moment..there are thousands of species undiscovered..as there are those that goes extinct.nothing we can do abt it..but take little actions..like planting trees..teaching kids the proper way of treating nature.sorting your garbage.reducing it.recycling etc.small ways that actually contributes in saving earth or ecology.
but are you sure your meat/veggies is not from USA?it can travel as far as asia.
and about the other Q...Ric said it himself..they tried to do it legal..BUT THEY DON'T TRY HARD ENOUGH..instead they resort with sneaking and violating the rights of the people there.even suspecting J mafia behind it. IDK..BUT IF IT IS TRUE I THINK THEY ARE DEAD MEAT RIGHT NOW..BUT THEY ARE STILL BREATHING,AREN'T THEY?,
Please could you further explain as to why they were breaking the law? You actually made a good point, the film crew make no effort to translate their message, which I can't explain, so I take back the comments I made, you made a valid point. In my opinion dolphins etc shouldn't be hunted, ok with creatures like whales & sharks they say a nation should make some use of these, but if we carry on we will eradicate them, and then what? Honestly answer me what happens if it all runs out?
i was only stating the obvious!they tried to offer money to the fishermen just to save dolphins, they sneaked out and break the law,did not give effort to put their message in japanese language and they claimed helping the consumers.
At least what we eat is grown to be eaten, it is a sustainable food source, & trust me if any of the animals we eat became rare, endangered etc, or even came under scrutiny from many outside sources, then the correct laws would be made to protect the animals
P.s where do I claim to be a researcher? I said I do research you dummy, & no not from YouTube you ignoramus, I only use YouTube to watch music videos/covers etc. Do you lot even look on the Internet? Or are most of the scientists/experts in said fields all wrong & you are right?? Haha I didn't think so either
Mamika you really are dumb aren't you? You have the audacity to make a comment on the other video, & by the sounds of it are you a fisherman? Do you in any way reap any reward from the slaughter of these creatures?? It wouldn't suprise me!! The fact you say you go plant trees etc is a completely different problem altogether, are you that stupid? Trust me if this sort of thing was happening in my country I would make sure I got there & tried to prevent it
I only state facts sorry, you actually do need to learn about these creatures. Check any of the marine conservation programs & you'll realise I'm talking some sense. I found the earths trust website very informative, as are many of the other sites
You wish the Japanese wouldn't take this as an attack on their culture!?! Listen to yourself! Have you any ability to put yourself in somebody elses shoes? What, are you a self-absorbed teenager?
Picture this.
How would Americans feel if some hack-job documentary pandering to raw emotionalism declared that eating hamburgers (or bacon and eggs) was evil?
Cows, chickens, pigs...and DOLPHINS... aren't endangered, and I don't make judgments on food based on how "cute" they are.
I wish the Japanese could watch this without instantly viewing it as 'an attack on japan & it's people' & actually see the real problem, the moment we get past this then hopefully change will take place
I could just as easily say that who gives these nations the right to knowingly eliminate entire species?? The rest of the world has to enjoy these creatures too, so don't you think a handful of countries fishermen wiping them out is unfair on the rest of the world
Mamika you have clearly not read the comments, or by the sounds of it, even watched the full documentary?? You'd have realised they offer to pay the fishermen to stop, but they continue regardless. I'm sick & tired of hearing of petty arguments from people who clearly don't think before opening their mouths!

They are true to their word, they want to make people aware of this tragedy and not make money off this. Thumps up this message it could help make a difference.

!!!! FELLOW ANIMAL LOVERS !!!!
Thanks for defending the dolphin cause!

@CecilTheSeaMonster That guy isn't even against Dolphins... his video is about common sense for the most part. His overall message was if they really wanted to help the Dolphins they make the film in Japan.
wannabethug7 9 months ago
@wannabethug7 LMAO, they DID make the film in Japan. Are you on crack or something? You haven't even watched The Cove!
CecilTheSeaMonster 9 months ago
@CecilTheSeaMonster Yeah I watch it. Seems the only one on crack is you being delusional to cut your common sense from reality. The did not make the film within Japanese studios. It was a bunch of westerners sneaking behind the scenes showing it off. Like that guy clearly says if THEY really wanted to save the Dolphins and not worry about just trying make money off the money. They would had used Japanese Studio to convinced the SOURCE of the problem. Not aggravate the Japanese.
wannabethug7 9 months ago
@wannabethug7 Sorry, but your broken English is hard to follow. I suggest that if you want a Westerner to understand you, that you type proper English. And why would they make the film in ANY studio??? It's not a studio-type film with studio stages & sets & props. It's a fucking documentary. Do you even know what that means? LMFAO! Go back to your crack pipe & your 10 yen sucky fucky whore, little boy!
CecilTheSeaMonster 9 months ago

It is not the lines that the white man who did not recognize a colored race as a human being says.
It is before half a century. The Japanese sushi culture was barbarian in U.S.A. and the Europe.
taihuu25go 1 year ago
@taihuu25go
However, sushi came to be praised to the skies as in the white man society when a scholar said when there "were many figures that a Japanese was different from a white man, and was slender, the reason was because it was it as for the fish food culture a Japanese".
The Mister Charlie will eat a whale if a scholar says that "the whale meat is healthy food".
taihuu25go 1 year ago
The culture of the food is different every country.
A dog, a monkey, a cat, a dove.
It is said that the country has even a country eating the fetus of the person.
Even a European ate a dolphin in old days.
The claim of the Mister Charlie not to "eat you because we do not eat" is only racial discrimination.

@taihuu25go In the Cove, the movie maker went to Tokyo, Kyoto asw and asks Japanese if there is a traditional thing to eat dolphin.
They were all shocked, and said that they had never considered dolphins as food, it's just an invention of Taijin(?) hunters for justify those crims.
And we can see after, in the movie, that dolphin meat is sold as whale meat (they change tickets on the pack). Why that if there is their culture ?
Rhodinski 1 year ago
In the ancient times, the dolphin was edible all over the world.
And it changed by the development of the agriculture.
Therefore there is the country which was not going to eat a dolphin if there is the country eating a dolphin.
It is nonsense to use an interview picture only as for the urban people knowing only the dolphin of the aquarium for a movie.
Have not you thought that they were the extras of the movie?
taihuu25go 1 year ago
Is it a crime?
As for the work to make foie gras, according to the viewpoint of the person of other countries, as for it, criminal.
taihuu25go 1 year ago
Do you know all food culture of your country?
In your country, is not there the unique food culture every district?
Japan is a slim country.
The Japanese north town is a blizzard today.
However, in the sea of the Japanese south coral reef, colorful tropical fish swims.
taihuu25go 1 year ago
@Rhodinski
People living in the north have a cooking ingredient produced only in the north, and there is a cooking ingredient to be able to catch to south people only in the south.
It is difficult for urban people to know all the differences of those food culture.
taihuu25go 1 year ago
@Rhodinski
Do you sell dolphin meat as whale meat?
As for it, the truth is unidentified.
The dolphin meat is sold as dolphin meat at least in the district of the foot of Mt.Fuji.
A dolphin and a difference of the whales are only differences of the size for the arts and sciences.
But the impression that I have for dolphin meat is an image that the dolphin meat is blacker than whale meat.

Killerlady118 11 months ago

RobgersHabit 1 year ago
@mamika - I have read up on the case you mentioned, I didn't realise there had been a case of foot & mouth over there. When I said temporary ban, It would have to be an international effort, everyone country joining in & providing for countries which may depend on seafood. Realistically I don't think a ban would ever take place as there is too much money involved, but sooner or later they will have to reduce the limits that are set to fishermen, this in turn may make it more expensive

Thats the mentality of the country - kill, kill, kill until theres nothing left. There are now less than 5000 Blue Whales left, when will you wake up and realize?

..At the end of 2006, the journal Science reported that the world's fisheries could collapse by as soon as 2048 if current fishing and oversight practices continue. This could spell disaster for marine life and the coastal communities that depend on the marine environment for survival.

..Modern technologies in fishing practices including bigger nets, longer lines, and larger fleets coupled with inadequate oversight of fishing operations by many nations have contributed to the decline, the results of which are rapidly becoming frighteningly obvious.....

i won't dream of stopping fishermen or people consuming seafoods..but i'd rather support them planning or informing..how to make things better.I heard Norway succeeded and fishermen there not to overdo fishing..and they really have good catch.
mamika302910 1 year ago
hey!you censored my reply..i said..nothing we can do about it..BUT TAKE A LITTLE ACTIONS.Instead of letting your money do the actions..e.g. donating in some enviromentalist group..god knows where your hard earned money goes.lets take part by actually doing SOMETHING NOT VIOLENT OR AGGRESSIVE like plant trees..and veggies on your own backyard.and yeah..informing others that killing animals for fun is not healthy.

Overfishing not only threatens the future survival of targeted fish species but it also wreaks havoc on the balance of whole ecosystems and creatures that depend on ocean resources, including people...

Sorry not sources, what are the main items of seafood that are consumed in Japan?
RobgersHabit 1 year ago
One more question before I go to bed, i gather you are from Japan right? If so have you ever eaten/know anyone who has eaten dolphin, & whether it tastes nice & has nutritional value etc? In your opinion what are the main seafood sources in Japan?
RobgersHabit 1 year ago
I never doubted Japan would have Eco-friendly programs like the ones you mentioned, but surely you have to realise creatures like dolphins aren't sustaintable food sources given their growth rate? I believe the majority of Japanese people are good people, it's the small handful that run these operations.

Also you say, & I quote; "as there are those that goes extinct.nothing we can do abt it..", well yes, in this day & age, where our knowledge & education is so much greater I believe we can stop problems like this before it's too late.
RobgersHabit 1 year ago

He, like the writer of Jaws, unknowingly caused more damage than good.

here in japan..they have strict rules about reducing and recycling garbages.government has programs like culturing fishes and even fireflies and letting school children send it back to mother nature.they care about ecology specially oceans..after all it is their life.their source of foods and livelihood.it isn't that bad as it seems.japanese people are not heartless and barbaric.they have a choice on what to eat..we can not force them our values and beliefs.
mamika302910 1 year ago
and i am no expert but i think nature is nature.at this very moment..there are thousands of species undiscovered..as there are those that goes extinct.nothing we can do abt it..but take little actions..like planting trees..teaching kids the proper way of treating nature.sorting your garbage.reducing it.recycling etc.small ways that actually contributes in saving earth or ecology.
mamika302910 1 year ago
i know.
but are you sure your meat/veggies is not from USA?it can travel as far as asia.
and about the other Q...Ric said it himself..they tried to do it legal..BUT THEY DON'T TRY HARD ENOUGH..instead they resort with sneaking and violating the rights of the people there.even suspecting J mafia behind it. IDK..BUT IF IT IS TRUE I THINK THEY ARE DEAD MEAT RIGHT NOW..BUT THEY ARE STILL BREATHING,AREN'T THEY?,

You keep coming up with these American references? Do you think I'm American?

Please could you further explain as to why they were breaking the law? You actually made a good point, the film crew make no effort to translate their message, which I can't explain, so I take back the comments I made, you made a valid point. In my opinion dolphins etc shouldn't be hunted, ok with creatures like whales & sharks they say a nation should make some use of these, but if we carry on we will eradicate them, and then what? Honestly answer me what happens if it all runs out?
RobgersHabit 1 year ago
and genius..
i am not fishermen.
i dont have to be..just to understand them.
i was only stating the obvious!they tried to offer money to the fishermen just to save dolphins, they sneaked out and break the law,did not give effort to put their message in japanese language and they claimed helping the consumers.
ya right!lovely!
mamika302910 1 year ago
hey genius!
your farm chicken and vegetables have been long gone.it doesn't have the same DNA.IT IS ENGANGERED!
YOU JUST DONT CARE..
BECAUSE IT IS NORMAL AND ACCEPTED THERE.
mamika302910 1 year ago
you are eating genetically modified organism..
G M O !!!
and what's with you and the fishermen?↓
go drown yourself into the ocean..
your accepted food?who set the rules?
mamika302910 1 year ago
At least what we eat is grown to be eaten, it is a sustainable food source, & trust me if any of the animals we eat became rare, endangered etc, or even came under scrutiny from many outside sources, then the correct laws would be made to protect the animals
RobgersHabit 1 year ago
P.s where do I claim to be a researcher? I said I do research you dummy, & no not from YouTube you ignoramus, I only use YouTube to watch music videos/covers etc. Do you lot even look on the Internet? Or are most of the scientists/experts in said fields all wrong & you are right?? Haha I didn't think so either
RobgersHabit 1 year ago
Mamika you really are dumb aren't you? You have the audacity to make a comment on the other video, & by the sounds of it are you a fisherman? Do you in any way reap any reward from the slaughter of these creatures?? It wouldn't suprise me!! The fact you say you go plant trees etc is a completely different problem altogether, are you that stupid? Trust me if this sort of thing was happening in my country I would make sure I got there & tried to prevent it
RobgersHabit 1 year ago
yeah.did you watch the documentary movie 'oceans' too?
i do not hav to worry about things bigger than me.but i know one thing..I PUT MY BELIEFS INTO ACTIONS.
I plant trees and extend my hands to needy.
what have you done genius?beside runting in net?

Not all dolphins are endangered but where do we draw the line with other species of dolphin??
RobgersHabit 1 year ago
I only state facts sorry, you actually do need to learn about these creatures. Check any of the marine conservation programs & you'll realise I'm talking some sense. I found the earths trust website very informative, as are many of the other sites
RobgersHabit 1 year ago
because you talk nonsense.
mamika302910 1 year ago
It's like talking to a brick wall with you lot
RobgersHabit 1 year ago
Well obviously you lot haven't read my comments. If you think the ocean isn't in trouble then maybe you need to do some research.

@rodgershabit
SierraAV8R 1 year ago
maybe mr.rabgershabit ate too much dumb animals.watch food inc and you will know more.
mamika302910 1 year ago
rabgershabit..
you don't know what you're talking about.there is different beliefs..you can not force others to accept yours!
just because ric find the dolphins cute and intelligent..he has the right to pursuade others.it is not his country.it is not his culture..
mamika302910 1 year ago
Are dolphin and whales nobler than other animals?
All creatures are equal. All creatures are noble. Should white people be treated better than any other race?
Everything is equal. Let's stop discriminating against animals according to species.
whalingo 1 year ago
I wish the Japanese could watch this without instantly viewing it as 'an attack on japan & it's people' & actually see the real problem, the moment we get past this then hopefully change will take place
RobgersHabit 1 year ago
I'll put this simply so it won't be misunderstood. OCEAN RESOURCES ARE VERY CLOSE TO BEING WIPED OUT
RobgersHabit 1 year ago
@RobgersHabit can you support this statement?do you have any idea how big the ocean is?
mamaito88 1 year ago
@mamaito88 and there is plenty of seafoods and fishes in the oceans..what are you?a child?my baby can do statistics better than you..
mamaito88 1 year ago
I could just as easily say that who gives these nations the right to knowingly eliminate entire species?? The rest of the world has to enjoy these creatures too, so don't you think a handful of countries fishermen wiping them out is unfair on the rest of the world
RobgersHabit 1 year ago
Mamika you have clearly not read the comments, or by the sounds of it, even watched the full documentary?? You'd have realised they offer to pay the fishermen to stop, but they continue regardless. I'm sick & tired of hearing of petty arguments from people who clearly don't think before opening their mouths!
