Here ya go......look this up: Darren Criss (Live)- Mac the Knife performed 1 day(?) before this Trevor Live. He's perfect and adorable as he is in everything that he says or does.

What's wrong with Darren is probably that he is training for H2$B on top of being in those last shows on the Space Tour and Glee and a performance before this. His voice can't handle all of that. I wish he would take care of his voice, concentrate on the Broadway show & of course Glee. At this pace, I am very worried. I want him to go to NYC and be the very best they've ever seen. I do believe in him and know that he has it in him if he doesn't stretch himself (his voice) too thin.

He was actually pretty good live this time. Of course, it's an easy song (doesn't require much vocal range). I would have stopped there, but at around 1:53 he starts yelping like a dog. I think his problem is that he's a better singer in his mind than he is in real life, so he tries things that he's not skilled enough (yet?) to sing.

@PrepeiNaSasPw OMG YES, thank you. I completely agree with you. Darren Criss has great passion when singing live. Yet he still has a lot to learn about singing techinque. He has to be able to project his voice and gain more resonance. Also he needs better support for his sustained notes and develop a vibrato. His high range also needs some training. Despite all of these things, I think Darren is really talented. He just has to keep on working on his voice ;)

@PrepeiNaSasPw I actually don't agree. I think he is more than aware of his range. U can actually see him move the mike away when he realises that he totally screwed up that note and the next note sound better. I think he has a really vast range and can cover almost anything but he needs to slow down(he had a performance earlier that day hence why his voice was so tired). I still think he sounded great minus that last part...

I agree with the awkward lyrics, but at the same time couldn't it be taken as "It's not unsual" to be gay? As in, you are amazing and you aren't alone? I don't know. That makes the awkward lyrics seem better.
