The presenters were "in on the joke". They can be heard (off camera) laughing more than a few times. I'm sure they're not that boring that they'd not find it funny. They struggle to keep it together a couple of times during the interview.
The male presenter is Oliver Driver, he's actually quite funny himself but the I think the programme he's hosting isn't really aimed towards the audience Wilson Dixon would normally entertain so they're trying to hold back from laughing.
I think that was intentional, they were playing the "straight faced' characters. If you watch Carly she is trying desperately to keep a straight face at times

oliver driver is an asshole. one can only wonder if the role he portrayed in "black sheep" is actually based on his real personality.
paul henry would have been a much better presenter for this interview!!
