God, this game is great. Loved how you played on Level 3 with no damage!

First time I played this, I was getting slaughtered on Level 3, but the more you play, the better you get - I can't put this one down...

I have this set up on my xbox 360 pal, on a 40" Widescreen Lcd..And It plays absolutly fantastic... Awesome game from an awesome developer..

I just love the graphic style and everything about this game..

The scoring system is quite challenging and when in powerup mode, you really can ramp up your scores.. This game should be in every shoot'em up fan's collection..

You're a scientist in the near future, and the world becomes infested with strange creatures (aliens, demons, shadows, whatever). You decide that you're the only one who can help, so you construct a little makeshift jetpack and laser rifle, and as you take down more enemies, more options become available. Like that.

@Karragh How long would you want something like this to last? Shooters aren't about length, they're about replaying for higher scores and trying to complete them with as few deaths as possible. You can't possibly expect these games to last 10-15 hours. They never have, never will.

Keep in mind that all these shooters like Deathsmiles, Espgaluda, and Mushihimesama are released in arcades first, and no one is going to pump quarters into an arcade game for 10 hours straight. I love shooters. I can guarantee you that if a shooter like this had enough levels to last up to 10 hours, people would criticise it for being monotonous.

Just on the PSN the other day I saw some pack, forget what game it was, but it was a pack of like, SEVERAL japanese shooter games in one pack, going for the price of one video game, all together. And that made perfect sense to me, because all combined they would be a good length.

I don't know how that pack did in reviews, but I bet people didn't complain that it was too monotonous

@gekkosenshifury Not really. There is not as much of (if any really) grazing, the shot patterns and familiars are generally universal with shooters to be honest. There are other shooters then touhou, just touhou is the best known.
