In my opinion the title is metaphoric. In this video Chris appears like an animal trapped in an invisible cage, fighting to get himself free. To run away from "the biology of universal cruelty".

Probably it doesn't concern directly on his music, but I would be surprised that someone as Chris that makes his sensibility clear in so many songs could dress the skin of an animal that has been killed exclusively for it; and I'm sure of the fact that if it was true, it also would bother other fans. In a singer not only matters his music, his attitude matters too!! Anyhow I think that the fur is fake and I admire him for all his songs =)

I love the song and I love IAMX as an artist, but I am dissapointed with the video to be honest. This songs deserves more than just jumping in front of a cam, even though its IAMX jumping there. How do you feel out there?

I dunt specially like IAMX vids, not really. But for me that isn't what it matters- his voice is , not being out of this world, quite personal and unique, and he uses a musical language no one else dos nowdays. Hav you listened to such beauty as "I Am Terrified"? Say, not a great vid, but one among the best (and theyr not so many) albums of 2009.

I agree with you completely. As a long-term fan of both IAMX and Ruth Render, I found the video quite disappointing. I really love the song, but this 'jumping' gets very repetitive, and doesn't really represent the song. There's no progession, no story. I'm not saying that all videos should have a tangible plot, but rather the music videos that I find the most engaging are those that narrate, and have clearly sequential events (Missile by IAMX being a great example, in addition to Girl by RiD).
