  • Wow this was the youngest i ever seen louis gosset jr

  • I was glad when Bennie dumped George.

  • Did George think he was white?

  • It's like "Death of a Salesman"....

    DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY DRAMA, HOOOO

  • Lou Gosset Jr...young and dramatic just like Officer and a Getleman

  • nothing like a good brother sister bond in the beginning of the vid lol

  • haha i read the book but the movie makes the book all the more bizzare out there and strange. ... i take one look at this family know and almost die they are so stupid

  • @FordMan055 the whole movie is good

  • I love 8:03-8:16. Louis Gosset jr. looks so young!!

  • I love 8:03-8:16

  • fuck walter lee

  • @uBeTriPpin100

Saw the movie, read the book, he gets better.

    Give Walter Lee some credit.

  • @uBeTriPpin100 really?

  • possibly the first time "faggoty" was said in a Hollywood produced movie??

  • "Faggoty white shoes"

  • @JordynHiggins94 i'll never wear white shoes again lol

  • that is so funny when they are pretending to be african tribes people hahaha and that guy walks in and walter slinks out the door

  • I am disappointed as they could have gotten the music and interpretation correct. Sidney Poiter says, "that's my man "Kenyatta". Kenyatta means artist. HOWEVER, the Djembe (the master drummer), that is playing the drum is named Babatundi Olatunji (R.I.P.), and the song, was one that ushers in the new year. They could have also taught her an authentic West African dance...I don't know what the heck she was doing!

  • @nawmmbr I think he was referring to Jomo Kenyatta, the man that led Kenya to independance, also called "the flaming spear"

  • I was glad she dumped him.

  • I didn't like George in this movie. Sell out.

  • Prometheus was a greek Titan brother to the titan Atlas... Promethyus stole Fire from Zeus and gave it to mand Kind as it says in legend... i don't know if that is an insult... probably an insult of knowlege lol Titan I would be like hellz yeah hahaha i am a Titan!! but was later schooled by Zeus... lol hahaha

  • @1ebzb you're right !

i personally think Promethyus was one of the coolest characters in greek mythology

and he surely was "a nice fellow" giving the humans fire and didn't he help heracles ??

  • Flaming Spear! HOT DAMN!

  • Is George Murchison the guy who played Fiddler in Roots?

  • @MegaSupaFine yes, his name is Louis Gosset, Jr. He won an academy award for "Officer And A Gentleman"

  • @baconboy59

This was his film debut. It took a close up to see him, though.

  • Faggoty lookin white shoes?! WOAH Walter! :O

  • @arod1122

When a man, black or white, feels threatened by people more confident, and in Walter's case, more active in their own lives than he is, he will say things like that. Sad, but true.

  • Black brother hell!

  • benetha is funny as heck

  • In my heart of hearts, i'm much warrior.......classic lol

  • what's the name of the song at the beginning?

  • How come all you college boys wear them faggety looking white shoes LOL Walter is cutting up

  • 69Billsmith...stop posting inappropriate comments

  • Rich college boy was a young Louis Gossett Jr.

  • walter will hit the man ...well yes

  • yes i thought that look was priceless too...my goodness...rofl

  • 4:42 what is the beef between Chicago people and New Yorkers?

  • The most hilarious moment in this movie is when Walter Lee stops in his tracks to look at his sister dancing. Priceless!

  • That was Baba Olatunji's music.

  • that sister is nerve racking!

  • she sure is! LOL

  • @asset68 I think she's cool, i think I'm in love with her :)
