Brilliant! Produce an explosive gas, RIGHT IN YOU OWN LIVING ROOM!!! I sure hope you had the mentality to at least be alone in the home when you did this! Stupid rednecks!
I have other videos on the big generator if you click on my name and go to my home page you will be able to view them.. As far as the Amps go.. I havent been able to get a good reading.. It will draw more and more as it warms up on the battery chargers amp meter with a 12v battery in line with it..
It starts out at around 7amps on the meter and at 150+*F it will be around 14+amp draw on the charger to the point it kicks on and off thats running the generator for 1hr and 25min.. ***Note** I am using the Amp meter off the battery charger to see the amp draw.. I purchased 3 Amp meters from Harbor Freight tools and none of them would take a amp reading on the battery wire I have to power the generator..
you measure the mill volts which correspond to amps they are in a ratio.. you can go above 10 amps with out any fear of the fuse or the amp meter blowing up :)
ok ive done this its fun take some dish soap put it in the pepsi cup and let it bubble some untill u get a decent pile of bubble turn your generator off and move the hose out of the cup to prevent flash back and let a match and throw it in the cup it makes a huge bang
light it light it!!!

WOW, that is one of the best productions i've seen, and from what (appears to be), a relatively simpler setup inside!
GREAT job HHOhotrod, i am seriously thinking about turning mine into a like model now.
Are you using Lye yet? or KOH? that stuff will increase your production by about 60% compared to Baking Soda i've learned.
Great Great production you have there!
Thanks for keeping the videos on them!
Cheers,
X

hopefully you always use a bubbler to act as the spark arrestor, that thing is just a huge hydrogen bomb =P, did you put in any blow offs?
