The blood, or should i say ketchup, was an accidental on set mishap, the last bottle of fake blood we had was knocked over, and the location we were shooting in had one small gas station/ grocery store and didn't have anything for us to use other than ketchup. The time constraint we had forced us to cut corners and try to color it the best we could in post, which of course isn't very. And good interpretation of the video PNbassist94, that's exactly what we were going for. These guys were a blast

If id have to take I guess to this I think it would symbolize how a women has gone in2 prostitution and the woman in the feild symbolizes the inner innocense she still has obbtained but as corruption of sin takes hold around her the deeds she does leads to a downword spiral till the end the blood on her hands shows her own life and the lives she ruined through lust and thus finally killing her innocence but idk that's my take on it

Did you guys use ketchup for blood at 3:44? Corn syrup, corn starch, coco powder, red and blue dye. Works well and can be removed with regular soup. about 10 to 15 bucks but will help in the end. other than that, nice work. One more thing, did the band not want to be seen well so you shot high angle or was it just shot that way becuase the director wanted to?

@Bennyx666x I don't see any resemblance to Megadeth... Guitar wise and drums wise is completely different and sounds nothing like this song. Only thing about district of misery is the drum roll at the beginning and it is only the first few notes of the snare drum. If you complained about every drum part sounding like every drum part you wouldn't have a song. Drums are always copied every beat has been used before! Ex: Every rock or metal band has similar drum beats. Rolls, Blasts, whatever.

@Bennyx666x I'lllgive you that one haha drum intro does sound similar... But my drummer doesn't listen to Megadeth so it wasn't an intentional rip off. And I've never given that song a listen either. But like I said in previous comment. Drums are the most copied and similar sounding instrument in a band. Every drum beat has been played before. Everything has been done before in music. Time signatures,Styles,Guitar Tones and Tunnings,Songs key,songs pulse and etc. gives the variety of music.
