Bloody hell! This brings back some memories. I used to love going to that place as a kid. Such a shame it's gone now... It was literally just some old sidings full of shunters, the odd mainline loco and some rolling stock, but it was nice to look around. You could see the tracks branching off going into the huge shed of the Yorkshire Engine Co.
I once got a cab ride on a shunter there (I think it was on 03); the driver took us over the bridge back to the car park outside the train station!
An excellent reminder of how British railway societies come and go and the way they were set up in poorly-located urban areas with vandalism in evidence and finally closing in 2002.

Rare! I remember this place. They almost had more stock than track! Fortunately most of the stuff was re-homed safely when they shut the place.
