  • Effortless perfection and know-how. BRAVO

  • Ele é unico e será.A sua voz é cheia e por vezesde um suavidade encantadora.Prende-nos. O som está péssimooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • Wow!!!!!!!!!

  • Sammy SANG that!!!!

  • It's RARE that I hear a man sing this! & He did it beautifully! Incidentally, I heard a guy sing it @ karaoke & he tore it up! I personally want him to audition for AI singing this song!

  • DAMN!!!! He had his own way with the song, which is ok in itself; but the finishing touch...KILLER! Waht a showman he was.

  • This song just so happens to tell the story of Mr. Davis' life and career. Surrounded by a culture seeped in racism, Sammy refused to be refused. And as a result, he made the world love him. I salute the memory and the legacy of the great Mr. Sammy Davis Jr.

  • he reduced me to tears, what a total professional and gentleman

  • Amazing performance!

  • Beautiful Version! Absolutely beautiful!

  • avertisement..........

  • @12ock oh my

  • Holy Cow. I finally know what this song really means.....

  • @MsNewport123 me too

  • Woah.

  • When I was younger, i did not appreciate Davis' talent, especially when I see what is passing for entertainment and talent today, and they are getting paid ten times as much money if not more than these old and extraordinarily talented old entertainers. Davis has a range in his singing voice I did not know her had. I know Jerry was tired but he could have been a lot more enthused about Sammy's performance.

  • @lynekab jerry was being a hater

  • I was very disheartened to learn that the telethon will be cut to only 6 hours. Even more disturbing was the fact that the press release on the MDA website had no comment from Jerry Lewis. In fact the press release didn't even mention him at all!

  • this guy proves it's not just women who can sing this one

  • @iwishihad2000feet THAT'S RIGHT

  • A family favorite. Got to see him (and Jack Jones!) in person. MARVELOUS!

  • A little history

Sammy's touring musicians were always augmented by an Orchestra

    George Genna-Piano

    Frank Accardo- Guitar

    Clayton Cameron drums

    James Leary- Bass

Fip Ricard-usually trumpet conducted on this.

  • eople dislike this video, this is a dieing man singing something completely out of his genre tells you how versatile he was, people should admire sammy

  • sin un solo esfuerzo es extraordinario verdaderamente....super

  • Simply the best the best all around entertainer that ever walked the face of the planet in my view - he was simply breathtaking.

  • awesome... especially the ending

  • he is nil satis optimus

  • He made a song that difficult to sing sound easy. That was great!

  • @denzelsnipes69 sooo agree!! love his version

  • he aint no michael jackson...more like sammy jackson.i pray that they are both in paradise, may Allah keep them both

  • Hold that last note Sam! Love it x

  • Werkkkkkkkkkkkkkk Sammy he was great RIP!

  • @ifusuckilltellu GREATEST ENTERTAINER OF ALL TIME THERE WILL NEVER BE ANY ONE LIKE HIM! RIP SAMMY!

  • i dont just think he was the greatest performer of all time i actually think he could possibly of had the best voice out of the rat pack, cause i really dont think dean or frank could isng this, sasmmys voice seemed to just suit EVERYTHING, i am so gutted i never got to see him live

  • Class, poise, grace, polish, showmanship, and REAL talent! the antithesis of all rappers and their so-called music!

  • I KNOW THAT'S RIGHT

  • the greatest entertainer to have lived on this planet

  • I AGREE

  • It's nice to hear this song without it being screeched at you! It's interesting to ponder whether Sammy had been working on an album of songs from recent stage musicals when he became ill, what with this, I dreamed a dream, music of the night, memory and more in his repertoire at the time. It would have been a nice last hurrah if he had completed something like that - certainly a more fitting end to a career than his country album.

  • amb la boca oberta m'he quedat O_O

  • what a powerhouse performance-how much i miss this man!

  • hilarious -Lewis gives him this nonchalant, "eh, you were okay." I have to admit it was much better than I was expecting. The guy was great, no doubt, but I could not imagine him singing it.

  • Yeah, it's probably the greatest entertainer of all time.

  • THE WHAM OF SAM!

  • @Savaric86 YES HE IS

  • @Savaric86 THAT HE IS!

  • @Savaric86 HE IS

  • I loved it. The best. R.I.P. Sammy

  • STOP IT !!! Genius. i'm ill. Pouvez-vous imaginez. wounded. ACHt.

    Great !

  • *Mouth hangs open in astonishment*

Drama. Power. Sex appeal. Pathos. originality. SHEER VOCAL PROWESS. Too many highlights to list!!!

His grace when acknowledging Mr. Jones' performance is a lesson for all performers.

    This man is TOPS, period!!!

  • Absolutely! Sammy was and shall remain among the best vocalists and entertainers ever. An

exceptional talent. Many thanks to JoeWellington for his postings. Riveting reminders of an electrifying star.
