What gives you the impression that Mormons don't lie? Are you talking about all church members or just the leadership? Plenty of examples of both leadership and common members lying throughout history.
I also doubt you're qualified to comment on their intentions. "They don't mean wrong" is incorrect, and I'm not simply referring to grammar. Numerous examples of the Church's intolerance and desire for control exist, not to mention their lack of hesitation when considering unethical methods.

As a former mormon, I can tell you that church members do lie. So do their leaders. Most often through omission, but sometimes directly. For example:
Bet they didn't tell you about Smith's convictions for fraud. I'd wager they didn't tell you about him being crowned a king, ruling in a despotic manner, or seeking to overthrow the US Government.
This doesn't mention that their control of information within church ranks is similar to Orwell's 1984. Research a bit more and get back to me.

You don't know the church is true, you just believe what they tell you without evidence. If you valued evidence and logic, you wouldn't be a member. The two are mutually exclusive.

How can you say the church is true when the book of mormon can actually be proven to be false? When Joseph Smith had a history as a fraud seeking to bilk people out of their money?

The church has a long history with racism. The book of mormon once said that dark skinned peoples that truly accepted the mormon church would become "white and delightsome." In 1981 the passage was changed to read "pure" instead of "white." The original meaning, as evidenced from the numerous talks and remarks from church leaders throughout history was white. Blacks couldn't hold the "priesthood" until the late 70's, either. Interesting timing on both changes.

Mongosoose, it doesn't matter what the church does that is good, that isn't the argument here. Giving money to people, helping those who need it, these are great things that the church does on a regular basis, but that doesn't make up for the horrible things that they teach. I am a former mormon, I asked to be removed from the church records not long ago, so I know that there are good people in the church and good things that come out of the church, but so do some of the most hateful things.
