Bassist needs Victor Wooten's advice: People don't like bass solos because you stop grooving, the bass is a groove instrument.

@JPastorius3 Who exactly is "people"? I liked his solo a lot. Did the groove catastrophically crumble because he played a more "soloey" solo as opposed to a groove oriented one? No, of course not. The band was still grooving.

The keyboardist needs a voice. It's one thing to play fast, but there is no phrasing at all and the speed gets monotonous after a while. Actually, I would have this dude playing in my band at all. He needs some chops to go with that speed. Tony is beast as always.

If you haven't seen his DVD your missing out. You gotta catch him rehearsing his solo's for this DVD. When he rehearsed this, it was probably one of the best solo's I've ever heard him play !

@Drummermaz I used to hear people talk major crap about tony and say he was better as a kid. in my opinion he was good as a kid but better now. But when he was a kid he played the style of that time. drummer now seem to be alot more crazy and free with their licks then they used to be during like the 80s and 90s and though in i grew up in the 90s the drummer style were still similar but now it seems to be whoever can outshine the other muscians best is the winnner i miss the style of the 90s

It's crazy, but the sickest thing the first keyboard player did was the chromatic scale at the end. That shows me that music is more about emotion and placement than theory.
