on itunes and working on my second album "traveling the highway". soner or later my first cd should be on there. i like the style of ur music with the country,pop, and bluegrass mix. keep up the good music !
The arrangement for this song broke my heart a little. The EP sounds great, but I was really hoping to hear that this song was left in its original form.
That being said, I'm very excited that Reina has an EP out. And I'll continue to be deeply appreciative and fully supportive of all her endeavors..even if I go back to the video featuring the last swig of coffee instead of the new arrangement. :)
Your EP is beautifully crafted, & I say, take a bow to all the musician's involved, but the thing I love most is your voice, it's so recognisable, & definitely a big plus for your career which I know now can't fail to succeed. After reading a bunch of the comments all on these new versions of songs, all I can offer you is this. If I've learned anything in my years as a musician, it would be, that if this feels right to you, then you're on the right track. You can't take everyone on your journey, and it is your journey. Fans will come, fans will go, the only thing that remains is the music we write for ourselves! So you keep writing, and never forget we only stop growing as musicians when we stop trying new things!
Start beautifully, but then...the jarring electric guitar and percussion come in....OUCH! Why Reina? WHY? Do you honestly think this is better? You are something so special, but with all the extra wetzel stuff its just another pop/rock/folk song...PLEASE - back to your roots! Release your songs in their pristine, Un-cluttered original format! PLEASE!!!!
@DeHartmann9 I highly disagree with you. I'm a musician as well and I could always hear the percussion and electric guitar when listening to the old ones. It is far better this way from a musical stand-point and the lyrics are delivered much much better. She did a wonderful job putting this together. I say as long as she is doing musically what she wants to do then her true fans will stick with her no matter what. Keep it up Reina! =)
@DeHartmann9 There are some areas in this that are like... overwhelming, but its still really great and i think it really works for what Reina's trying to do here.... THANK YOU REINA FOR THIS AWESOMENESS!!! ^_^
