Seems like no one really wants a relationship anymore, just looking to hook up. Pretty immature I would say. Being in a relationship and actually caring about who you're with feels a lot better than just fucking around. I live in New Hampshire, and it's still the same deal. Girls that think every guy wants to just hook up is sadly mistaken, there are plenty of caring guys out there.

I agree. There is no "How to interact well socially" class, and no "Character Values 101" in schools. We are supposed to meet, get married, have children and the cycle continues. All this f*ing around is destroying everything. So many women don't know how to love or even BE loved... where are they supposed to learn? Animals "hook up" and have babies and then leave. What have we become..?

It's kind of strange, I was never really taught how to act as a respectful and responsible adult. Yet, I show a lot of compassion and respect on a regular basis. It may be just how my brain thinks I should be. The sad truth is that some don't really care enough about anyone else but themselves to put an effort into someone else. I believe giving a gift makes you feel far better than taking one, same with relationships. If you make an effort, you cannot feel better about the whole situation.

There are no values or manners in most LA women, though it would be nice. I'm tall and good looking, and often make dough, but don't date often. For socializing, I'll volunteer, and meet friendly women with values. A Cosmo slurping self-entitling narcissist doesn't bring out my gentlemen qualities, much less conversation, so bars are out. I've been happier with nobody...unfortunately.

@riotgearhead you can find some nice women at book stores (I know this sounds corny but educated women are a plus as well). try going to youth church groups and christian speed dating...religion will uncover the true values

I agree so much about men having a wierd respect thing on women should not have sex to soon.The thing that gets me is the same men who judge women for having sex "too soon" are the ones who approach a girl to have sex "too soon".They are hypocrites.

interesting. i have lived many places due to my job and LA definitely has the hottest women by far in the country (Miami runs a close second). The variety of beautiful women here (mexican, persian, filipino, armenian, etc) is amazing and uncomparable to any other place in the world. no straight man should be complaining here. its like a kid in a candy store.
