  • Great great help for my daughter. Thank you!

  • good try though...)

  • Every Pitch was a Ball!

  • @otroe1 how was every pitch a ball?

  • @jeterlover03 You can hear by the sound of the ball.

And look how the Pitcher hit's her Leg!

    Trained Monkey Pitcher!!)

  • @otroe1 you are a true moron....you can't tell if a pitch is a ball by the sound of it....you can tell if it's fast or slow. Second I guess the Cat Ostermans and Monica Abbotts of the world are monkeys too because they slap theig legs with their gloves....what are you? Twelve?

  • My friend fractured her ankle on one of these things and I almost did

  • It is a balance progression drill, not a fielding drill. The fielding aspect comes into play as your pitching mechanics progress. Each drill relates to another to make a complete pitcher. This is actually a very well layed out drill

  • this is tought the wrong way! Her foot should not kick up. It kills her speed. I am 9 and 3/4 I thrw faster than her!

  • @granmarsha If this is the wrong way hun...why is every Elite pitcher throwing like this? Watch Cat Osterman, Jennie Finch, and Lisa Fernadez and they all follow through this way...even most collegiate pitchers don't follow through all the way with their hips anymore. Youtube those above pitchers and watch their follow through.

  • this will definatly make the ball rise!

  • Shouldn't she be teaching her to be in better fielding position?

  • Lol i bet you she payed the pitcher to be a lefty for this vid, jk!:P I got my dad to build me one of these beams and my pitching speed has increased by 3, it was 53 and now it is 56, I am 12 years old

  • well thats a good way to break an ankle.

  • just watch a jenny video she finishes on her back foot and never get in that perfect fielding position. you should watch more of this coach she is right on.

  • idk what to thinkkkk...lol

  • yea its just a drill but if she gets used to it then she will never do it right

  • wspp60... Agreed. My whole philosophy to teaching pitching is that fine, she needs to be prepared once the ball is released. Once the ball is gone, she is no longer a pitcher, but a fielder. With the new bats coming out that drive the ball hard, and the greater skill players are getting, the pitcher MUST be prepared after the ball is gone to receive a ball back at her. This method is the worst in preparing a pitcher for being a fielder after the pitch.

  • Fall straight back! are you kidding? I hope she never gets a come back, (a ball hit right back at her). She'll never be ready to fielld it!

  • yeah i know! theres no way she'd be able to! i pitch and my coach tells me not to.

thered be no time to field.

  • ummm... THIS IS A DRILL NOT THE ACTUAL METHOD!

  • OH WELL IM 11 AND BEEN TAKIN PITCHING LESSONS AND THROW 58 AND YALL ARE GOOD TO THOUGHT GREAT JOBS

  • yeah ive done that it helps !!

  • ooh thanks! very helpful!

  • well i liked it great tips!
