A lot of thing people don't understand is that Voldemort and Grindelwald were actually different...

Unlike Voldemort who only sought people of pure blood, Grindelwald was a lot less picky and fought for the mages as a whole. There was a difference in the ideology and as later was discovered, he was a lot different than Voldemort himself in personality and did not fear death unlike Riddle.

I don't care what anyone says about the Potter-verse except for J.K. Rowling. It's her books, her story, her universe.
