  • @caolanr8 I am the voice behind Microsoft Sam...but psshh! :-p Windedoors is in the repositories of pretty much every major distro, but as for imvu....no idea.

  • I have got Wine 1.2 installed on my Linux Mint,which is not Wine doors. Actually you do not need Wine doors to install Windows software as if you have Wine 1.2 the latest version installed like I have, that works. You just go to the website of the Windows web browser you want to install,then download it and install it. The same way you would on Windows. I have the Windows version of Flock browser running on Linux installed through Wine and it works. Andrea.

  • I use PlayOnLinux because there's more choices of programs on it to install . But yeah ... Wine-Doors is nice also ^_- I gave ya a 5*

  • Thanks George! I have zero experience with PlayOnLinux, but since you and Tim seem to be quite satisfied with it, I might check that out.

  • Give it a go ^_- Many games and apps that are updated often Edgy !!! Plus it finds the wine version that works best with any particular program and installs it :) No diss to wine-doors . I just think POL does allot more .

  • I am using gtk-recordmydesktop. I found an awesome tutorial by a french guy on how to make Linux screencasts with recordmydesktop and kdenlive. I you want me to I'll send you the link. It really helps alot!
