My God!! People in third world countries get treated with more respect than this poor woman did. Those authorities and judges should all hang their heads in shame!! I live in Pennsylvania and I'm ashamed to say that after watching this. Disgusting and disgraceful don't even begin to describe their actions.

how terrible to hear this kid used the "molestion: card against his father, probably at the urging of his mother. This is SO frequent, I hate that these people do not understand how sick that is. Ity so demeans REAL abuse victims. Because of people like this, many people who really are abused are not believed or are only believed under a cloud of suspicion. I do not believe that anyone except the step sibling earlier ever did anything. She is a criminal.

I don't know why women automatically assume that they have total rights to a child and the father is only secondary. It's time women find out that they don't get the kids just because they have breasts.

@AdLaura Mothers have a natural attachement to their children that fathers do not have. If the mother is mentally healthy she should always get custody.

@Imogen1885 -- That is absolute bullshit. Custody should always be shared equally and if an agreement can't be reached about that, then the father has just as much right to the child as the mother does.

@AdLaura We'll have to agree to disagree. Mothers trump fathers every time in my book, especially when a child is very young and still breastfeeding. But even older kids prefer their mum in most circumstances. The father in this story was not protecting his child from abuse. he was clearly unfit.

@Imogen1885 - Amazing that women say they want equal rights but when it comes to children the father only gets the equal right to pay in your book. women can choose alone to abort and they should have the right to just take a child away and yet i bet you still want the cash. You are everything that is wrong with society and the reason so many male children grow up without understanding what it is to be a man.

You clearly wish to use the courts to strip children of their right to a father which can lead to numerous problems later in life and I stand by my assessment. Dictionaries are an alphabetic list of the definition of words only. So your kids will not only hate men but not understand how to use the basic tools of the English language. a child made a comment about battle custody he wants to be with his mom but no one seems to listen to him and what the parents' says are more important.... thats sad hearing it from a child .. ahh the law of the society

as one who was kidnapped & held in mexico for a month, i kind of understand what this poor boy went through... kidnapping sucks & it never really leaves you once you're safe, although i was taken to be hurt, not protected.

wow. sorry to hear that. I hope life is progressing smoothly for you now. but that kid says it best - no one cares what the kid wants/asks for, instead it's all about the parents but yet the kid is on who is hurting.
