Of the Golden Trio my favourite is Ron. He is the heart of the group that makes it work. I felt mad for a long time that the writers, though bless them for writing great scripts that gave us these great movies, reduced Ron's roles in said movies as what Larry said here -- Harry's sidekick. In the books he was not Harry's sidekick, he was Harry's best friend, and the brother he never had. The way the characters it was as if Hermione was Harry's best 'man', so to speak, and Ron's the third wheel.
I don't like how the narrator generalize the Potter phenomenon like saying Ron is Harry's sidekick, for instance. Plus, he says that before there were movies, these things were just imagination. I was like, are you kidding me?

I don't understand why they would make like 70 wands and glasses for him....especially the wand bit when its just a wand! why would they keep replacing the same ones o.O? As for the glasses...his head would have stopped growing at one point and they aren't constantly breaking throughout the series lol.
@jualkyn the wand changes design as the material gets more advanced, aswell as broken and damaged ones, not to mention ones for stunt doubles, and with the glass he wouldnt have stopped growing untill about the fifth film, so they would needs new ones to fit him, and his many stunt doubles through out the years and then if they brake or get lost.
@xXxmissemmaxXx I think I sort of get what you are saying but I still don't see the necessity for over 100 wands having to being replaced, that still boggles my mind. And why would they be constantly breaking? I would imagine they would be careful with their props seeing as how it is probably expensive. Also, what does him growing have anything to do with replacing his wand? Are you saying they made the wands a diff size for him than when he first started?

If you read the book or even just watch Deathly Hallows part one, the people who are resurrected don't come back in full human form, but they are also not ghosts, their sort of in between. In the movie he couldn't touch his mom no, but he also couldn't see through her or any of the other people he brought back, like you would a ghost, ya get me?
All those people out there who are OBSESSED with Emma ending up with one of the boys: it probably won't happen. Imagine marrying someone you consider a brother. That's weird. They've grown up together, and love each other like family-nothing more.

@jualkyn Daniel tended to drum a lot, plus the cast member could wear them out quite easily, so they had to be replaced due to that reason.

honestly, the movie got the books practically spot on!!!

The only thing that I noticed that is not accurate about this, is that Harry doesnt have green eyes.
But the only reason for that, i found out is that Daniel Radcliffe kept on having negative reactions to the green contact lenses, so for Dan's sake and his health, they just dropped the green contacts.

Even Dan said it himself cuz they didnt really put lots of stuff but other than that i dont see LOTS of different things in the movie from the books! they may have cut some stuff but they did put practically all the important parts! and Daniel was the best Harry (for me that is) and some ppl make big deal out of that (not having green eyes) well J.K was OK with it and she's the writer and he was only 11 so "Health" is important as u said

I honestly don't think Rupert compares to Daniel-sure, he's a good guy, and pretty funny as Ron, but his answers are not interesting or well thought out. They mostly consist of "ums..." I know Rupert lovers will severely dislike this, but hey! I like the guy, he's just not the most fun to watch an interview of.

@caf324 Yeah, I agree. I don't think he's arrogant and selfish at all. Maybe Dan meant selfish in connection to the hero complex? In that aspect I could see him as being selfish, since he wants to do all the work himself, but I dunno. It seems more like he's sacrificing himself than being selfish. He does tend to get rash sometimes, yeah. He just acts on the spot without thinking it through, he's kinda impulsive like that, which can be a bad thing.
