there was a woman monastic community as well .it is now gone. first this man called everyone to the monastery and then he proceeded to ask them all to leave. 6 women prior to the ones who are there now . this community has quite a history of people leaving. although it is sometimes true people do leave an entire community does not just become "not good enough".all the women in the monastery are now struggling. destroyed spiritually and destroyed for having lives in the world.

Usually when one has problems with a priest one goes to the bishop or local authorities.Why was this not done in this persons case? Records can easily be checked and attendance at schools and dismissals can be checked. IF this man in indeed fooling others and has a parish and a monastery why has no investigation been done on him in church court

Treadwell Abbey is located in Delaware County, New York State. The monks do not work to support themselves. They have three donkeys and a horse, almost as pets, but they are not self-sufficient. Their three oldest monks were recently released from the Brotherhood because they found out about Fr. Joachim's lies. A nun recently left because of psychological abuse. The abbot is not in a position to guide souls, as he has no spiritual experience as an Orthodox monastic or clergyman.

Какое право имеет кто-либо трогать прошлое монаха, а также вмешиваться в монашескую жизнь, и при этом вносить раскол среди братии и соблазн мирянам. Давайте Соборно помолимся о страждущем и одержимом иерее Михаиле, попросим Бога умудрить его и дать ему Мир. Живём тихо и дружно. Вообще у нас в мужской общине всё мирно и спокойно, часто бывают паломники, но как было сказано в поговорке, свинья везде грязь найдет, но ведь пчела везде просто собирает нектар.

В социальной сети за именами hecuba08, apostolnik1 прячется священник иерей Михаил Владимиров, бывший Торховский, клирик Патриаршего Собора в г. Нью-Йорке. Непонятно что с ним произошло и откуда такая злоба! Он был чадом отца Иоакима, теперь же пытается его уничтожить! Ведет себя как трус, улыбаясь в лицо отцу Иоакиму, и при этом за его спиной его всячески злословит!

THE ONLY NUN ONLY SLEEPS IN A SEPERATE HOSE, BUT SHE IS ALWAYS WITH THE MONKS ...EVERY LITURGY. SHE WORKS FOR THE MONASTERY. MOST OF HER TIME SHE SPENDS WITH THE MONKS.

Уточняю, монашка живет в отдельном доме, но постоянно находится на терретории мужского моныстыря... А остальные монашки убежали, так как обстановка в монастыре ужасная, до христианской любви там далеко. Конечно, не для посвященных, заежающих туда на несколько чесов, может показаться, что все хорошо. Но опять же... Как монахи зарабатывают себе на проживаение? Что они производят? Ничего-- Ноль!

Удивительное, благодатное место! Недавно посчастливилось лично побывать в Treadwell, походить на службы, побеседовать с братией, монахиней, которая кстати проживает Отдельно от монахов, а не вместе как читаем в некоторых комментариях...

You have to visit the Monastery yourself, talk to Father Ioakim and share trapeza with all the brothers, attend services or even to live there as a novice for a while to be able to sense that devout orthodox spirit, this Grace of God yourself!

I am so grateful and blessed to recently visit Treadwell Abbey, NY and meet f. Ioakim (Parr) and the brotherhood! It is a truly heavenly place where you feel grace of God in everything and everyone whether it is f. Ioakim or f. Savvati or any of the brothers or the nun (by the way, NOT leaving together with monks as some commentator claims here!)

Два Иеромонаха и один монах ушли из его монастыря месяц назад... Была даже монашка --- ее избили и она убежала...после этого еще одна монашка убежала. Где вы видели монастырь, где монашки и монахи жили вместе? И монастырь, где ничего не производится и не выращивается? Сейчас в его монастыре находится только 4 монаха, один послушник и одна монашка, и 3 человека просто жувущих там. Остальные разбежались. По плоду нужно судить дерево! This man is not who he says he is. His secular name is John Gary Parr. He was born in 1943, not 1936. He was never a Catholic priest, and he has only been Orthodox since 1986-87. He was kicked out of St. Tikhon's Seminary, and he has never been in obedience to anyone. His only monastic experience has been as an abbot in his own monastery. He lies to people about his family background, his life as a Catholic, and his life as an Orthodox monk Beware of this pseudo-elder!
