  • I saw the souls,I saw the martyrs, I heared them crying, I heard them shouting, They were dressed in white, they've been told to wait ,The sun was black, the moon was red ,the stars were falling, the earth has trembling, And then a crowd impossible to number, Dressed in white, carrying palms, shouted amid ,the hotless sun, the lightless moon, the windless earth, the colourless sky ...

They'll no more suffer from hunger

they'll no more suffer from thirst

  • the greek pink floyd....genious

  • can't find anything negative about this, this is the albumn I've bought the most. A bit of Greek psycheadelia never goes amiss!

  • I made a beat from this track too, haha!

  • (DATPIFF) /Jae-Lawson-Its-Nothin-Personal-mixtape.307036.html&oldupsid=352354778080

  • Lyrics please.

  • better under acid !

  • from 2.50.. beautiful and scary - just like they intended

  • MY God what memories i got. We were listening to this all the time in early -70...

    :))))))

  • this track sounds a lot like moments on la planète sauvage soundtrack by alain goraguer to me

  • try listening loran's dance by idris muhammad right after this gem.. it fits great !

  • Oh yes... glad i found this band , thanks our creators!

  • This song is unreal, like I cant believe how good it is.

  • Paradise is a place Agean-like where u can relax under the not very hot sun (some litlle shadow) staring at the sea from a cliff or a large balcony listening to that kind of music.

  • this is the best guitar solo, pink floyd can be jealous

  • me gusta - wildcat. look it up.

  • i want to hear someone rap to this

  • @STEEZEMCGEE like who?

  • @mushroomhill biggie

  • @STEEZEMCGEE Jae Lawson has rapped to this

  • @STEEZEMCGEE The RZA would sound great over this

  • WOW

  • theyll no more suffer from hunger- i cant figger out whether its god saying hell put an end to their suffering by destroying them or even theyll not suffer once they are dead . or the devil saying theyll suffer no more if i destroy them-.I cant quite get to grips with it its like a double edged sword -fascinating verbal trick, must be a name to describe this effect- could it be a conundrum?

  • I hear waves lapping on the shore

  • 123 people love this sound, 2 don't what's wrong with this picture?

  • so you think you can tell heaven from hell?

  • An awesome background history of this great unsung band. This track is for me quintessential AC and one can definitely hear Vangelis' roots.

  • >I heard them sharting

  • Taken from the REVELATION OF JOHN....got to read

  • This is beauty incarnate

  • omg i cant believe how good these guys are

  • Un clasico, cada cierto tiempo lo escucho y sigue siendo extraordinario, lastima que ya no hay musica de esta calidad....

  • This is my first time hearing this album. All I have to say is WOW. I thought only Pink Floyd was doing stuff like this. Why the hell have I never heard of these guys. Of course I wasn't born until 1980 but still.

  • INCREDIBLE SONG

  • @BestiaDeAviles Commercial reasons were not democratic then Utube rectifies that by people voting up entries for popular recognition . However it is interesting that no such bands are coming up today. I believe that the sixties was a direct result of the second world war and a reaction to its horrors, and those responsible for the horrors were quick to put an end to them

  • one of my favorite in all time

  • Wow, fantastic music, gonna go hunt this album down at the music store like right now.

  • This guitar solo rivals the best from Gilmour

and the entire album's structure is easily on par with dark side of the moon

And this was only the tip of the psychedelic/prog iceberg....

There was supposedly enough material from these sessions for FOUR lp's

Hopefully someday they will release the remainder of the 666 project

  • As a huge fan of the electric guitar solo, the concept album and trippy music in general, I"m embarassed to have JUST found this. Just the right mix of trippy, hippy, ambience setting the mood, great vocals, a solid concept, tasteful instrumental accompanyment and truly EPIC guitar work - all combine to pull off a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts! Well done and thanks Magman. Happy to have at least 2 new additions to my top 200 guitar songs of all time!

  • throw some chimes on it

  • thankyou magman for making this album available

  • The Event Horizon approaches.

  • throw some chimes on it

  • Aphrodite's Chils é do caralho...essa musica é uma aula de Lissergia

Este album em Vinil é o Ultimo achado que a futura humanidade irá buscar.

  • leider die falsche nr ... ups bad number

but this music ist phantastic !

  • tτις μεγαλες μουσικες δημιουργιες...απλα ..ΔΕΝ ΤΙΣ ΑΓΚΙΖΕΙ Ο ΧΡΟΝΟΣ!!!!

  • Thank you magman for uploading these. I haven't heard this album in YEARS. I had forgotten about it until today when it just popped in my head out of the blue. You've made my week.

  • one of the greatest prog psych albums of all time, on my desert island classic list

  • I had this album back in early 1979s Iwas just out of the army. I was and still am Christian. I f I were you , I would listen to this album. IT IS THE FUTURE OF MANKIND! Hopefully but not likely peace will prevail on earth. Love is the only way. CHRISTIANS JEWS MUSLIM lets get it together . Time is fleeting. For me I want a whole world in peace for my kids! PEACE!!!

  • Sound of Eternity!! Souls come together and the World will be unified!!

    Love and peace for everyone!!

  • there"s no way i"d of developed my keyboard sound without vangelis,so highly inspirational! a true "master craftsman"!! and a brilliant musical picture of "revelation"

  • I first heard this in the early 70`s and it was as stunning then as it is now. great track.

  • I bought the album last week,and it,s brilliant..nowadays there,s no music like this,just crap,long live the seventies!This and "the four horseman"keeps me thinking....

  • you are absolutely right with every word,,,I love this album since 30 Years

  • Thank you for this song because in 1969 at 13 years old I listened to WGTB, a progressive college station in DC that played it often. And the song would always move me to tears.

  • that's right, all right but I think this song is fantastic and the lyrics are dark and the voice is scary

  • These Words are true, from the revelation of John

  • there's shades of Electric Ladyland about this track

  • It's scary and dark, and Seven Bowls too

  • @Kylmes

you must know, that it is a prophetic scene , written in the Book of Revelation.

  • This piece sounds a little like "Marooned" on the Pink Floyd album The Division Bell. I'm not sure if David Gilmour was influenced by this piece, but it's a possibility.

  • this song is not by Demis but by Vangelis: he composed everything

  • DEMIS ROUSSOS RULES!!!

  • Demis without Vangelis music would be nothing.

  • Well I have one Demis album that I love. The LP "Souvenirs". It's really something else, it's some pop songs and ballads "à la Demis" but there also is some disco-funk really worth the listening, I mean for those who like this kind of music. Yo can try "Action lady" or "Midnight is the time" haven't tried yet o youtube.

  • I get the feeling the scenes described in this song are coming soon.

  • Classic prog. Stunning aural experimentation mixed with energetic pop that wasn't pop. Dark and manic and perverse. True to the spirit of Revelation and St John.

  • Unique!

  • weird...interesting...spooky

  • Secrets - Joe Budden

  • Classic prog rock!

  • each time i get back to this album i get the chills.

  • @humanvynil so do I ..

  • This is heaven and hell. Great band.

  • @1234HonkyTonk1234

i am sorry, but it is different.... it is the future, written in the Reelation of John.

  • Hey, somebody is using my biography.......No problem.

  • Loved it from the word go, when I discovered and heard it for the first time... just timeless!! What a trip indeed!!

  • The best and unique!

  • 40 years later, accessible aphroditie, i have waited a long time

    myspace/music/trimfig

    inspired satisfied

  • what a trip! classic sounding prog rock
