  • take forever to take mg wend 2012 jajajjajajajaj?????????????????

  • did you build that?

  • i would have had it out before it got wet. better yet i would have keep it over the field

  • Well, its not that bad. Looks like the plane can be fixed in a couple of evenings =D I once ran out of fuel when flying my Extra. I was too low to circle to the end of the runway, but on the other hand, i was too high to point the nose down and try to land as quick as possible. I chose to dive back to the runway, and it actually worked.

But i was going too fast and the plane plowed straight into a corn field. BOOM, the entire nose section was gone. Still, it was flying the next day :)

  • Now that's pushin the envelope. 3 Cheers for the No Fear flying.

    At least it's fresh water.

  • @haggis your write time is not on there side when this happens can you say hydrolock

  • Now the was funny wish i had been there to seen it in person

  • lazy fatties...

  • hahahahahah good work idiot

  • Why the fuck didnt they cut the power before it went over to the pond.

  • @MrNaaki1201 umm, it was flown over the pond intentionally....

  • ah vamos combinar aki, ele caiu mas o cara manja d+

  • he dip little bit too deep, should keep the pitch up when you in doubt specially belly facing. i would dip when belly facing the other way lol just for the sak of it... not a bad dive.... hope he catch some fish for dinner.....

  • @FlyNAceAZ I was gonna say the exact same thing...but you slipped in that empenage word too, so I defer to you. But exact same thoughts.

  • Ahhh my 4k plane is sitting in water and im to much of a bitch to step in the water and get itttttttt waaaaaayyyyyaaaaaaaaa.

I would been sprinting like hell and diving into the water.

  • showoff

  • Rocket Scientist...what did he think was going to happen when you dunk the empenage in the water and remove the airflow from over the flight controls??? Just proves that given time...some people prove that they aren't thinking!!! Too bad...

  • Now thats what you call a dumbass.

  • go hover your helicopter and buy a real airplane and learn to fly it

  • ha ha! ...mess around...ya get dealt with! lol

  • wat the hell : oh its in the water my £500 rc plane in in the water il go and get it out 1min later just got to it oh well that was a good time havin that plane

  • get the fucking plane out dooshbag

  • @rccrawlers if you are going to try to offend somebody, at least spell it right, you douche! hahahaha

  • Why would anyone want to hover over water?

  • @ejsunshine2 Softer than dirt?

  • WHATS SHORT FAT AND STUPID??

  • @paulkazjack Your post?

  • @paulkazjack You?

  • scv405(CRAPP NAME)=bender!

  • Time to fly

  • water cooled motor!!

  • Thats what I call a speedy rescue...... LOL

  • InteriorColors, this plane isn't 1/4. It's 1/2 scale.

  • not very intelligent

  • Wow, sheer brilliance! "Hmmm, let's just stand on the bank of the pond and do a control service check while the plane just fills up with water. Water is no biggie, it will only rot out the guts of the plane. No real reason to get in the water." How about a) run to the bank b) set the transmitter down and c) get the darn plane out?

  • pilot error lol

  • you obviously downloaded this video of youtube and posted it as your own because anybody who has the slightest knowledge about rc aircraft and flying would know that that is ALOT bigger that 1/4 scale that is half because its the only snapasaurus there ever was and your a giant ass

  • Hi there. Seems that i have come across you being a total wanker on many videos. This is about 1/3rd scale, a half scale one would be much bigger than this and have something like a 600cc engine.

Oh, and we never did see this big PA edge, did we?

    I wonder why...

  • @sheldonholy no 1/2 scale is about da 170 a3 size and if we had the weather to be flying i would be

  • Umm, yeah...

Well how come all 50% jobs have at least 400cc engines?

    DA170, honestly.

  • @sheldonholy well it depends on the kit if it composite it wont be too heavy and wont need 400cc if its a classic balsa construction it might need it

  • Yep, but im saying that a 170cc donk is a bit too small for a 50% jobby.

  • @3:01

Some retard goes out of their way shouting, EJ,You got yourself wet. Typical noise of a 350 lb inbread fk.

Thank God we don't have that sht up here.

  • Nope you only have to worry about queers in scarfs?

  • docbipe,

Pat added a 3d flightline on the lower part of the property. If you stand at the gazebo and look right, the pond is about a mile down, past the small lake for seaplanes. I think it opened in 2008.

  • 5* from me, plane ballet then a lil crash ;]

  • I do not recall a pond at the field. Was that on Pat's home property?

  • that was the least amazing crash ive ever seen, i meen it looked like the electronics didnt even get wet, and its not impossible to clear water frome an enigine

  • Hahahahahhaha that's piss funny.

I bet his pride was hurt more than the airframe.

Nothing like cocking up in front of your mates for good personal development.

  • could you guys walk any slower......seriously, there is still something worth saving in there

  • @haggis have you ever crashed a RC plane?

  • @myrandomspaces The question becomes, who hasn't. Letting a gorgeous setup like that sit in the water is just insane. I am speaking as a hobbiest here....

  • @haggis same here. btw i wrote that b4 i saw the whole video

  • @haggis

The plane is sitting on it's wheel's... it's not sinking anywhere.

  • Everybody in this video is fat.......whats up with that?

  • Its america.....duh..

  • jaajajajaja you right men...

  • that's because they can afford to eat.....

  • @markfordify

That's because they just stand there until they panic and crash. What a stupid way to spend time and money, hovering. How about some scale like flying? And get on a treadmill at least. I should bone their wives during these events.

  • thats no 1/4 thats 55% cus it called snapasaurus

  • ha ha ha ha

    Now that was funny!

rotate that prop see if it wil start LOL

  • @ratdoghippy The engine will start up again, not big deal. Is like if you turn off a candle by adding a drop of water.

    .

    ~DLPlanes

  • some how, they have to had known this wasnt a good idea, but you know these 1/4 scale + guys dont care, well maybe if it wasnt an ARF, you might try not to completely fuck it up

  • where is joe nall's located...? plz reply

  • haha, that's snappy and it's a 50% Edge 540. It's easy to see what happened, he just didn't hit right rudder in time. That's all. It's good that he tried to save her to the end. I hate seeing people get into trouble and give up.

  • this is one giant 1/4 scale looks more like a 42%

  • to bad he hit right aileron instead of right rudder...and the lack of power didnt help.

  • that should buff out no problem. lol

  • Just another way to scare e fish, i guess ... and that Whale at 3.07 looks like he cud eat the whole plane n still hv space for some .... ;3l

  • i can fix that in 4 hous flat.

  • why don't you trade in your fixed wing airplanes for some helicopters w/floats? think you'll like it better

  • isnt quarter scale, is a half scale bill hempel edge

  • water and rc plane

    not good

but im positive it was just a mistake like

    WE all make..

  • RC Planes are for the air, not the water! lol

  • i never thought id se the day that he would crash hes a realy good piolt

  • Comment removed

  • was it hurt ? :)

  • Also, notice how he came out? If he used right rudder, he could have flown it out. He started to use right rudder for just a second, but probably realized pretty quick that it would have flown out over the crowd.

He probably made a quick decision to dump it, rather than take the risk of flying it out over the top of the crowd.

  • He wasn't "outside his limits" He's an EXPERT pilot. It just comes with the territory. Even the best guys make a mistake sometimes. It doesn't mean he is an idiot. It doesn't mean he is outside his limits or flying above his ability.

He just made a mistake. It's called a dumb thumb. It happens to the best of them. It's an unfortunate part of this great hobby, but it happens to all of us.

Not many of you guys talking smack would even have the balls to flip the prop and start it for him.

  • What an idiot

  • Hover with a helicopter next time. doing it with planes is boring.

  • fuck you dude

  • Whatever... I didn't even say anything mean. The only reason I kept watching this vid was cause I knew it was going to crash. Don't take offense. There are other people insulting reaction time but you don't lash out at them.. Sorry

  • oh my god

    be careful next time,good luck

  • Well, the mightier we are, the hard we fall, they say. If someone wants to spend a small fortune on showing off and then wreck it is that person's problem, unless the wrecking hurt someone, or something.

The "Agusta 109 Power Rc, Crash" here at YouTube was much costlier, I bet, and that it did itself, with no

    help from an over-confident pilot!

Done a lot of wrecking in my day, but not quite in this price range! If I don't include myself, and my motorbikes, that is :-)!

    Tord

  • now you can put in your ass allll the plane ajajajajaj

  • It was a nice flight until the misfortunate ending =/ I like to fly scale more than aereobatic.

  • Rather than leave filthy words on here for some poor kid to read, I'll track you, and express my opinions in person. I allready have a great start! C-Ya soon girls : )

  • It's not 1/4 scale, it's 1/2 scale.

  • Comment removed

  • why do it over water?

  • The thing about Vertical Stabilizers is that they don't work under water when the rest of the plane is above water

  • For all you people saying this is a 1/2 scale, or 50% plane, the description says that it is 1/4 scale (25%)...

  • nope its a 50% must have been a typo

  • Ah ok sorry... I don't know anything about the large scale planes =P

  • Comment removed

  • thats with all the servos and radio equipment apart from the transmitter

  • hey btw how much did the 50% cost? iam gussing ur gonna give me a price in american price witch is fine. if u even tell me?

  • $12,000

  • in canadian?

  • ...not enough Power, better you fly electric

  • Dude the engine is a 3W-275 it's enough.

  • BTW i would walk up to that i would jump in there with my clothes on and lift it up right away

  • i believe its half scale

  • At the start of the video I said "Gee I wish I could do that" by the end I said "man I'm glad I can't do that"

  • when u cant do that u shouldnt do that

  • and now you can name it canader

  • wow that is sure one nice plane... im sure it will fly again... when i saw you go out over the water i thought... oh no.. but it looks like you got off a little easy.. luckly it was close to the edge of the pond.. awsome plane

  • he was well out of his depth

  • I think its better to crash in water than onto concrete

  • Not in this case.

  • Snapasaurus!! LOL i just found this vid. Cant believe it !! Flying Giants !!

  • thats bigger than 1/4 scale its 40%

  • [cough]%50[/cough]

  • 33% scale

  • No, it's the 50% Bill Hemple edge. :P

  • haha thats what half scale is..... 50% but yeah bill hemple's edge

  • I know, I replied to the wrong person. :P Sorry.

It was a reply to a post on the second page.

  • ohh k hahah its all good. just thought ill correct you. lol sorry

  • its a 50% edge from bill hemple

  • Big skills bigger balls. Nice vid, to bad about the plane.

  • To the guy that posted this video isnt this bill hempels 50% edge also shit happens its not "know your limits", accidents happen if they didnt youtube would be shite, also ive seen this guy fly in other vids he knows his limits... so people dissing this guy should think again.

  • Oops... Harry I mean, my bad.

  • To quote Dirty Hairy: "Mans gotta know his limitations"... lol. Nice plane.

  • The lack of humility of these pilots astounds me. I have been flying RC and have flown many planes including 3D and I would NEVER consider such an act unless it was in competition. First rule of flying....KNOW YOUR LIMITS

  • geeze, everyones hating on here, i read that this guy has so many planes, and this was his throw away plane, so dont talk shit, that move takes skill

  • that was stupid! Why would you spend $5000 dollars on a plane and try to hover it over water? Guess we all saw this one coming! Its strange how you lose control of your rudder when you submerge it in water! Bet he doesnt try that again!

  • yo dumb shit water is softer than dirt or are you smarter than everyone else

  • I wonder how many of those who are ragging on this guy can fly anything other than circles (if that)?

  • You've got to be kidding me. A gyro in an airplane these days? People can actually control their planes. You're really old or really young, regardless you don't have a clue.

  • well i fly 3d and dont own a gyro you must know it all

  • Was für ein Honk

  • what a dork! you sure did take your time getting it out of the water! you afraid of getting your feet wet! you got more money than brains!! i hope all your electronics are burned!!

    HAhahahahahahahah!

  • the pilot sucks, nice plane!

  • the pilot is actually very good, its very tough to do torque rolls. but his intelligence is in question here

  • Ha ha ha ha ha. Geez, probably using bottom of the barrel servos. What a piece a crap.

  • eso es exceso de confianza

  • yes he did break a wing. and account owner: this a is a 1/2 scale. not 1/4

  • did you break the wing looked abit bent

  • ha ha ha

  • Very unlucky. Fantastic flying, maybe a set of floats for christmas ha ha. Didn't look like you damaged it, just a bit damp.

  • its a 50 percent not 1/4

  • OMFG Thats a big sumbitch! I hope the radio and engine are ok. So how much stick time does it take to do that?

  • He was just asking for it..
