I was at this show and Stephanie was absolutely brilliant! Recordings just don't do her justice. Seeing her perform this live will blow your mind. She is the BEST ON BROADWAY PERIOD!!! Her voice is not of this earth and she has no equal. SJB RULES!!!

Her final date in London was June 7. She needed to fly to America and rehearse with the Broadway cast. Did you expect her to just fly out asap and jump into a new production with a different cast without having any time to even adjust to a new country? 10 days wasn't even a lot of time. And it was never announced that her first show would be June 9th. It was always June 17th.

Yeah but Stephanie's last was June 15th and Kerrys first was on the 17th. I guess it was to give Kerry a break between London and Broadway. Probably had some rehearsals before she went on to get some of the blocking down in the Broadway production. I don't know that's just a guess :P I could be wrong.

I'm from the same school as Stephanie, and its a popular story here that Stephen Schwartz wrote Wicked for Stephanie, but they need a bigger name like Idina to open the show. Stephanie is so amazing, and I'm proud to be from the same school as her. And she went on to originate the title role of The Pirate Queen! And now she's in 9 to 5 as well!!!!

Love the rehearsal pic with the broom above her head! Think you should have used a few more Steph/Kendra pics, and the one pic with her and Dillamond sitting on the benches was a tad overused. I don't know about anyone else but I've always found the Dillamond mask to be a little disturbing. Great job overall!

They usually only stay a year. Stephanie did Wicked on Broadway for a few months between The Pirate Queen and 9 to 5 (her new show). :)

That photo was from The Tonight Show (Jay Leno). Gary Busey and John McCain were the guests, and Steph performed with the cast of Wicked.

There's a picture floating around of her with Hillary Clinton when Clinton visited The Pirate Queen, as well. :)

(So far as I know, none with Barack Obama--yet. Maybe he and his lovely wife will take in a performance of 9 to 5 in the spring. :D)
