Thanks for posting. I wish there were more documentaries out there regarding Jim Jones. There are a couple of other good ones, but also a bunch of stupid montages of sinister scenes with creepy background music. As if the story weren't horrific enough to stand on its own.

You are seeing film that was made specifically to get local support and tax exempt status. Tim Carter talks about this extensively in one of his essays. They weren't going to give a group of American socialists tax exempt status.

@RobGoth100 Jim Jones in 1976 invited Rosalyn Carter, Jimmy Carter's wife to visit his Peoples Temple the year that her huband was running for president. That was also the same year when all the allegations of abuse in the Peoples Temple were coming to light in the media. I don't think Jones would've supported Ronald Reagan or Richard Nixon since they were Republicans and Jones' sympathies lay with the Democrats.

Its just amazing what this man was able to do. I personally believe that brainwashing was a major part of this. He made people work for hours and hours which of course made them sleep deprived and easier to control. Thank you for posting this. It is something that every person should know about. Pure evil.

The similarities between Jim Jones and Alex Jones are frightening. The first few lines spoken on this video sound like they could have come right out of the mouth of Alex Jones. Alex Jones has a CULT of followers who are weak minded, weak willed and repeat whatever Alex Jones says and do whatever he says, without question.
