I'd not agree with the voice quality at this point. The piano piece is nice and certainly doing a video with a cello or violin would be great to view, but your recording lacks quality depth in the voice, in itself. Maybe because of the bad mike in use and certainly because of the location of it when you recorded, but also, you have to do a bit more in projecting your voice to make it come across as a professional recording. Why not do an instrumental?

Actually, the song does choke me up quite a bit. It is difficult to maintain composure doing some of these songs, especially one like this one. I love it, especially the words and the story.

Thanks. I know that it is hard to hear, but I don't have a microphone available to use. In order to use a mic, I would have to be able to control the sound and I am unable to do that. It is just me recording these things, so I have to use what meager resources I have. My apologies that it isn't better, but it's the best I can do.
