  • arrogant when you have nothing to be arrogant about. Enjoy music for what it is, stop thinking high notes make u the best singer in the world.

  • I am going to be honest. I am currently training in the UK at a conservatoire and I know enough to say that you should not pursue this for a career. You should definitely keep singing but only for fun. This obsession with high notes is silly and stupid. Classical music and opera is not all about hugh notes, it's very amateur and childish. If you want to sing for a career, you really must get some better training because at the moment, you have way to many habits and problems. You also seem very

  • I am happy to encourage another singer of talent and to be in touch with a fellow artist I will keep listening and enjoying and you please keep in touch

  • You sound really good on O Sole Mio, This is the way to go! You are a light ,lyric, singer and you should be concentrating on Italian and French songs.Let your voice develop naturally and stop pushing your voice with heavy ,difficult, arias that you are not ready for. Sing and work on Art Songs, Operetta, Show Tunes, lighten up and give yourself time to grow as an artist.Go Slow! Prepare well! You have a voice take care with it.

  • @intelegentable Thank you for a nice and wise comment. I must admit that I love to sing arias like Di quella pira ,Nessun dorma,Celeste Aida and Morgenlich leuchtend.Still I try not to forget to sing also arias like Dalla sua pace,Una furtiva lagrima and Every walley to stay flexible and lyric.I hope I will grow strong enough to sing Manrico,Kalaf and Walter, but ALSO at the same time,The Duke,Alfredo and Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermore.Perhaps time for a new video of O sole mio and a new teacher

  • @intelegentable Sorry,I forgot.I also love to sing canzonas by Tosti and german lieder....I think it is time for a new video of O sole mio. It is 29 months old, this video...I sing this almost every time I perform on The Viking Village,a restaurant in Hafnarfjörður Iceland. Most of my performance is though Icelandinc folksongs with my guitar. If you like, you could have a look at my Che gelida manina and O soave fanciulla. I am good in duetts, because I listen to the other singer. (The sopran often)

  • bravo, fatta bene. complimenti

  • Well, I sing it in G major with the cadenza going to D!! Try that and with a proper voice, please!!

  • @pjotr669 Bravo. I would like to listen to that .I am singing Possente amor from Rigoletto up to D,but I am not a wery high tenor,I dont sing E or F in vocalizes.I think that my D is getting better after listening to Alfredo Kraus sing the high notes. After that I try to sing the A and then think down to my chest when I sing the High D. I sang O sole mio in A major,up to C sharp some days ago,but it had less power and I think I will do the A flat as normally. (Did it today, with a pianist,.)

  • @karifrid Sorry! I´m a Heldentenor, professional!! But, keep up the good spirit of yours! It really is nice! :)

  • What's up with the high note obsession?

Opera is more than just high notes.

  • @dandefikon Come now, those high notes aren't even THAT high. lol.

  • Very nice. Beautiful sweet tenor voice ^^ You have a bright future in the pursuit of a career.

  • Thank You Aggaluq for a good comment. I must say,.most tenors sing the song in G Major, and end in A. Pavarotti did it in A mMajaor and ended in high B. Corelli sang it in G,but ended on a high B. I do the same version in an Ab Major and end in the high C. I think this is better then the one I sang with karaoke in G Major.(With La donna e mobile ."live") I did a consert with "15 high C" in november to bemefit "mothers with little money" in Reykjavík. Now I am planing a consert ...see more ...

  • @karifrid. What sort of tenor would you consider yourself?

  • @Boganator4 Sorry for being late to answer.I sing some folksongs and pop with a guitar, but am interested in opera and have learned some tenorparts.I think my voice is a bit between Di Stefano and Björling.A lirical with some power, not a dramatic like Del Monaco.I think and hope I can sing different music,up to Trovatore and Aida.(A bit bright for Aida, but with 100 decibel high notes .)

  • Even though this video looks a lot amateur, this is the best singer i´ve ever heard sing this song.

  • Mr. Jonnibrams. My singing is judged by my videos on youtube, not fixed, taken on a cheap camera. You will be judged (and respected,or not) by the comments you make. Kári Friðriksson.

  • Yes, I will be judged by my comments, as you have reiterated, and I am judging your singing, though you don't need to take it all as a personal attack--let your fans rebuff me.

  • (Look up Florence Foster Jenkins)
